Ok so i did google it (and used the search engine on here like always), but it brought up the book of Ezekiel, some catholic and bible stuff! I've seen many people's diary including it and I was wondering what you eat it with, why it's good, and what it tastes like :) Thanks!.

Haha :) It's a sprouted grain bread. Unprocessed, whole grain, sometimes made with hemp or raisins. It's in the frozen/organics section. Quite pricey for bread and I don't ever eat sandwiches or anything, but I've heard it's tasty.

It's also good for people who have wheat sensitivities as I understand it does not have wheat.

It's whole sprouted grain. Perhaps some varieties don't have wheat but many do.

Its super yummy. Never going to be as good as processed bread, but for something that is "good for you" it is really yummy. Especially if you are someone who has a wheat or processed carb intolerance.

I actually like it haha. it's not smooth and soft like white or wheat bread. it actually makes me feel like I'm eating some substantial
  • I REALLY like it. I know people are saying it tastes like cardboard but give it a try! It has to be toasted tho!

As for the bread, it's personal taste. Some people actually think Rice Cakes DON'T taste like polystyrene! :noway:

I sometimes make it in my breadmaker, you can buy the flour at Bulk Barn (do you have them in the U.S.?) It is a very heavy bread but tasty.

It does not taste particularly good untoasted, in my opinion, but it makes the very best toast! I love it. :) The cinnamon raisin is good if you're in the mood for sweets, but the sesame is my favorite flavor overall.

The cinnamon raisin kind was similar to eating a cardboard sponge with raisins.

I think it's super tasty. I love it. It's got a nuttiness that other bread does not. I get the tortilla, the hotdog buns, everything. So good!

I don't care for the regular stuff, but they make a cinnamon/raisin bread that's pretty good toasted. I like it with some spray butter & a little bit of peanut butter(I like this spicy kind from Peanut Butter & Co) & Trader Joe's Pumpkin Butter.

I think their stuff is delicious. Toasted, of course, topped with a delicious nut butter.

EDIT: Or as a grilled cheese and tempeh sandwich. Yum!

I think you need more butter on there.
  • Hmmm.....I've been wanting to try this. I like hearty breads....but not sure about the cardboard texture. I will have to see if they carry it here. Thanks for asking.

Mmm Delish! Hands down the best bread I've ever tried, toasted or plain it's great for Nut butters, tuna sandwiches..whatever you enjoy! I'm newer to it but have purchased it several times now, I get the orange label one...forgot the name at the moment (the type).

I get mine at Trader Joe's for $2.25 a loaf, I don't consider that expensive for the type of bread it is. As someone mentioned it's hearty and it keeps you satisfied for hours.

    YUM-O:love:

Way wrong!! Very good! And you will see scripture because there is scripture on the package. It references a passage in Ezekiel that talks about healthy things to eat. I love their Low Sodium variety.
