I normally try and eat the "bad" stuff in moderation. I don't like to deny my body that type of things because I know it will backfire on me and I will end up eating WAY to much and throw me off. If your over compensate by doing more cardio maybe? Take a walk or something that will burn your calories off that way your not…

MFP is a great way to lose weight. I've tried many ways in the past and so far this is the most I have ever lost since starting to work out and eat right. Just stick to it. Follow the MFP recommendations and participate in the boards and you'll do great :)

My aunt is having that issue. She was told that her side pain was all in her head. That she needed anti depressants and to lose weigh. She looked at the Dr and said they were nuts and demanded a different one right then and there. It's insane that Dr's of all people can not treat everyone the same and with the same ethics.

:) It is kind of nice that we can do things "together" because he works out when he gets off work, and that's the same time I wake up and work out. He has lost at least 20 pounds since he's left (but it's unbelievably HOT over there). I'm so nervous and still have a few months before R&R...I really hope I can lose 20 more…

So, this is easier than when I first tried this over a month ago. I haven't been doing it steadily until now...I'm pushing myself more...and wanting to kick Jillian's *kitten* by the end...but I feel so good. Muscles hurt, but I'm pushing through :) Burnt 277 calories doing it today :) Keep up the good work ladies!!!

Roasted garlic hummus and crackers...I bought the 100 calorie right bites...veggies (heard different things on the veggies...some say they are unlimited and you can eat as much as you want)...pop corn is a good snack!

LOL I hardly taste my food while cooking. Figure if they don't like it they can cook next time (and there's never a meal they don't like lol). I just cook, season, and serve. I could see how it could add up though...especially for a chef or something...wow.

I have one that does both. I never use the watch alone. You have to keep touching the watch through out the workout or whatever your doing. I get up and work out then eat. If I don't do it that way I won't work out. Plus, they do it in basic training, they get up and do PT and then eat and not many of them pass out from it. I normally turn mine off when my heart rate is lower (like maybe 100). Even when it's coming back down, I'm burning the calories because of the workout...once it returns to normal(or close to) I shut mine off.

Women are not necessarily afraid of muscles...we just don't want the "body builder" type muscles. That is why we say "toned" because we can build muscle and still look "normal" and not like a body builder. Lower weights and more reps will give you lean muscles and tighten it all up :)

I will do it since my other strength training dvd isn't working. Only problem is days 28 and probably 29 I will be on the road (making a 20 hour trip with 2 kids a dog and a cat..fun). We will see though. I might be able to do it in the hotel room before we head off for the day :)
