  • Not really on a "diet" I count the calories and eat the right portion sizes. I also try and exercise at least 20 minutes a day...some times more some times less...I've lost 8 pounds since August 25th so something is working. LOL
  • Real butter helps you absorb nutrients from the veggies and stuff you eat it on....at least that's what I have been told. I have never had it, but a TBSP of I can't believe it's not butter light has half the calories of butter...
  • The calculations here are an estimate. Defiantly go by why your HRM says that is WAY more accurate.
  • That's exactly how I was, 34A before kids...and now 34D. No one believes me though because they don't look like D cups. But that's what the tape measure says and the bras fit...so yeah. LOL. I wear one while working out...I don't have good ones, and need to go get new. The ones I have are getting worn out (they are pretty…
  • If it's all water weight that you lose you will gain it back. Just shoot for the 2 pounds for the week and keep working hard. Use the fact that you were 4 pounds off by your date as motivation to lose the extra...
  • Maybe get like a salsa dance workout or something...or Walk away the pounds?
  • My goal is to lose 45 pounds total (goal weight is 125) by June 2011. I know mine is 100% doable. I want to be at my goal weight when hubby comes home, figure if I make it before he even leaves to head this way that gives me plenty of time to try every dress in the mall on to find the perfect one :) I have mini goals, but…
  • It's a good workout set. I have it but can not do it because it involves push ups and my wrist hurts when I put pressure on it. Just go to beachbody.com and look it up. Hubby lost weight doing it.
  • MFP has my goal at 1200 calories a day. I try and work out every day for at least 20 minutes a day. Last week I only worked out 3 days (weigh in on Wednesdays) and lost 1.7 pounds. MFP has it calculated at 1.5 a week. Hopefully this week I work out more and lose more. I also eat as close to the 1200 as possible. When I…
  • My biggest down fall is the Carmel Frappe at McDonald's. I let myself have it once or twice a week. If you deny yourself things you will eventually fail. You have have whatever just in moderation. Don't eat the whole package of cookies if thats what you want...eat however many the serving size is.
  • Weigh yourself once a week...same day same time. Other than that I have no clue what a good scale is. I'm using my Wii scale and it's been pretty accurate with the scale they have at the gym.

  • See if you can find a nutrition thing on each place. I know subway is healthy...but you would just have to see what the nutritional values at the other places are. I was shocked when I got Chinese one day that it wasn't as many calories as I thought it would be, so you could be surprised.
  • It depends on when I lose the weight. Hubby is deployed and if I can get it off before he comes home I'm going to go take the boudoir photos and send them to him. If not, I haven't really thought about anything other than that. I'm just wanting to get to my goal weight so I can get a SMOKING outfit to wear to his…
  • I love mine! I would get one. Like ^ said, you should be able to adjust the user settings to change your resting heart rate and then it will use what you set up instead of going by height, weight, age... I've found that I burn more calories than what MFP calculates for me. We moved and I lost my watch, and ended up going…
  • The amount you have left after adding the exercise calories and subtracting the food calories...
  • I can't get it to work
  • Jmmtaylor- To lose at least 8 pounds!! (will be 15 total so far)
  • I would get a heart rate monitor, but if you set your activity level correct in your profile it already calculates that into your calories.
  • It would have to be a Dr that does prescription because you can only get the HGC(which is the hormone you produce when pregnant) through prescriptions. If I'm not mistaken. I've looked into it, but I'm not looking to lose that much weight to go through starving myself and getting a shot. No thanks.
  • That's awesome. I never heard of this so I googled it....I might actually try it (if I can find someone to watch my kids while I do it).
  • I do this for the kids with yogurt. They enjoy it!
  • I picked a number in the "healthy range" for my height and age. Now, depending on when I get closer to that weight, if I think it is doable I will continue to my goal. If I start looking sickly I may gain a few pounds to where I look healthy and just maintain that weight.
  • Amazing!! You look great! Keep up the good work!
  • It is totally noticeable!! You are doing a GREAT job! One way to see for yourself is start measuring your arms, legs, waist, hips. Only once or twice a month. You will see the difference for your self! (don't do it too much because it takes longer for it to show when you measure that way and you might get discouraged if…
  • I'm part of a care team with the military base I live on. We go in after spouses have been notified that their husband/wife has passed (state side or in combat). We were told to NEVER judge, because you don't know what has been going on in that persons life...maybe the day they were notified was laundry day, and they have…
  • I typically try to eat about 300 calories for Breakfast (2 pieces of 45 calorie toast and a glass of FF Milk with Ovaltine (protein and vitamins)... Then for lunch I typically have a sandwhich 45 calorie toast with Land o' Frost Turkey, Kraft Medium Cheddar cheese -- want to make sure you're getting your calcium... Try to…
  • I would die if I upped my calories. I hardly eat the 1200 it tells me to eat in the first place. I'm never feeling hungry at the end of the day either. I was always told to eat more of your calories in the morning and fewer in the evening. I don't do it though. I should start eating a better breakfast than just yogurt.…
  • I have no clue but I would LOVE to do Zumba! It looks like so much fun!
  • It is a very intense workout. It kills me when I do it (I'm also just starting to work out). My husband seen great improvements on it!

  • I have the DVD but I don't do it everyday...I'm lacking in the motivation to do it. I'm hoping that I will see the results when I start doing it every day. Right now I just walk my daughter to school. Good luck if you do it! It's a nice workout.
