  • When I first got my wisdom teeth pulled I ate mashed potatoes and milkshakes. That was it. But I honestly didn't really feel like eating at all. That lasted about 3 days and then I was fine and went back to my normal diet. It's not really a big deal, unless you have complications. Hope you have a speedy recovery
  • I don't love working out either. But I've actually learned to like it a little...very little. I think I mostly just like the results I've gottena dn the way that it makes me feel.
  • I count them, sort of. I don't actually put that into MFP but I use a body media so when I get home from work, or just periodically throughout the day, I sync it to see what I've burned. Usually halfway throughout the say I've already earned additional calories, even before my workout. I choose to eat back calories burned…
  • Have you tried going to the body media fit page and disconnecting it from MyFitnessPal and then reconnecting it? Mine syncs everyday, no problem.
  • "if you go back and read what I said, I clearly wrote "all of our time." Our would include myself.
  • I wasn't aware of this tactic, but that makes sense. I try to take everyone at their word unless it's completely ridiculous. Still, wouldn't completely ignoring it be a better use of all of our time? Just my opinion.
  • No, I'm saying that if you all insist on trying to discourage her from the path she has chosen, you should try to do so respectfully and with facts and information rather than "this is crap.' Tell her WHY it is crap. Give her alternatives. Be constructive, not just critical.
  • I didn't say respect the drink, I mean respect the human being that asked about it. I don't sell Herbalife, I have a real job. Thanks.
  • I'm wondering why so many people who are not using it replied. Also wonder if you guys think that being rude or smart *kitten*-y is supposed to make her change her mind. Yes it's true that Herbalife can be expensive and that all the plan does is put you at a deficit. But who said she doesn't have the money? Maybe she's…
  • I use it as a meal replacement for breakfast. I don't think it's crap, but it is not a miracle drink either. If you ate the same amount of calorie in food, as you do in herbalife you'd lose the same amount of weight. I just use it as a quick yet filling meal in the morning. On Saturday's and Sunday's I usually skip it…
  • I give myself a break on the weekends but I don't allow myself to go completely off the deep end. What helps me a lot is to make sure that I work out on the weekends so that when I do eat over my calories, it's mostly calories that I already burned off. I know that my results would be better if I went 100% everyday but I'm…
  • I recently found out that my acne was triggered by a Biotin supplement that I had been taking. I stopped taking it about 2 months ago and my skin has cleared considerably. I don't know if you're taking any supplements or anything like that but it could be worth looking into.
  • I allow myself Friday and Sunday off from the gym, and Saturday off from tracking food.
  • I know that 1200 is unrealistic in the long run, which is why I have raised my calorie intake. Also, when eating at maintenance I will probably be able to eat more, and eat back my workout calories, so that's what will be different from now.
  • 1lb a week with 50lbs to lose? That seems pretty slow...
  • I go to the gym in the evening after dinner. That way my evenings are spent working out rather than eating. If I do get hungry afterward, I have a yogurt but I'm usually too tired to eat.
  • Time is really the only thing that works. Do the things that you enjoy. Go shopping, read a book, workout. Hang out with friends and family. Get to now yourself again.
  • Thanks everyone for your responses. I will try to keep it light for the next week or so. My main concern is that I will get out of the habit of going and lose motivation but I need to listen to my body. And someone asked why I feel it necessary to go to the gym 6 days a week, and my only answer is that I like to eat more…
  • I think it's important that you reflect on your previous work out and remember that it can be done. You know that you can lose the weight because you have done it before. Some days will be harder than others but just think about your goal. Come here often to get motivation. Just don't give up on yourself.
  • I ALWAYS wear jeans...why? Because they tell me if my weight is fluctuating. I never wear leggings for more than 3 days in a row. Good luck getting back into your goal jeans. I have a pair or 2 that I try on once a month to see how I am progressing.
  • I agree. I use herbalife along with MFP and exercise. I drink herbalife once a day as a meal replacement and stick to a calorie deficit, Herbalife is not a miracle shake. You still have to do the work. I believe that I could give up herbalife today, continue to eat at a deficit and continue to lose weight.
  • I just downloaded that last night. username: itsjordannicole
  • I'm close....I'm 205 now and a size 14. It's so interesting to see how size and weight vary depending on height and body shape. I love everyday. Feel free to add me.
  • You could try working off the extra calories.
  • You can always input the nutritional values of the fruits you eat in the point calculator and get the point values and track them that way. It's your choice. I was also advised at a WW meeting that if you have more than 5 servings of fruit you need to track them.
  • I'm having the same issue! I was thinking it was the skin was well. Maybe a combination of what the above poster said and loose skin...The struggles of weight loss...
  • Your body may just be too used to what you're doing. You may want to change your workout routine or the way that you're eating.
  • I too am on a 1200 calorie diet. That was the amt that MFP suggested when I input that I wanted to lose 2lbs per week. Reading this is freaking me out, so I changed it to 1.5lbs per week. I'm 26 and 5'4...I have lost 26lbs in a little over 3 month and honestly have 40-50lbs to go to be at a healthy weight. I don't eat back…
  • I drink one for breakfast every morning. Takes me about 5 minutes to prepare. It's usually between 140 and 300 calories depending on what I choose to add. I know that no matter what I chose for breakfast, if it was in the same calorie range, I'd still lose around the same amt of weight, but this is quick and easy and keeps…
  • I started in Feb around 230 and I am now 206. People started noticing about a month ago when I was about 211. I think sometimes it's because weight is sort of a touchy topic. I've had someone ask me in a whisper if I was losing weight like it was a dirty secret. Just because they haven't said anything doesn't mean they…
