Hi! I am in a similar position. I have been on a successful weightloss journey before and this time I am struggling to get motivated. I think the best advice is to just start. Start walking, start making better choices one meal at a time. Weightloss may be slow, but slow progress is still progress.

Hi! I'm also here to lose weight for my wedding!!! Quick background, I lost 60lbs with MFP back in 2014-15. In 2015 I met my now fiance and have since gained all of the weight back. I've been working on losing it and have been able to lose 19lbs in the last 6 months or so. I know I probably won't be able to lose all of the…

Hey! I have a similar story. Joined MFP and lost about 60lbs in 2014. I got into a relationship in 2015 and have since gained about 40lbs back. We got engaged 12/02/2018 and now I'm scrambling to get back to my pre-relationship weight in time for my wedding in September! It'd be awesome to have an accountability partner!

I got engaged 12/02/2018 and just booked our venue for 09/28/2019! I need to lose about 30lbs before then and want to lose at least 15 before I go dress shopping in March. It's crunch time!

I actually just started C25K on Monday so your story is right on time! Congrats on your success!

I'm almost 5'4 Starting weight 238 3 years ago, size 14-16 Current weight 216 size 12-14 Lowest weight about 2 years ago 178 size 10-12 My weight doesn't affect my pants size as much as I would like it to but I guess it's a gift and a curse

Have you tried lowering your calories? Did you put in your exact height and weight and your goal to determine calories per day? 1700 seems a little high to me for a woman trying to be in a calorie deficit.

Peanut butter!

Why is that sad? I wear my fitbit charge HR all of the time, except in the shower.

Ahhhh, I love this movie. This made my day!

I can super duper easily burn 125ish calories in 20 minutes of cardio. Like, with my eyes closed.

Seriously, thanks to everyone who has been supportive. And even those who were not, you guys gave me so much entertainment today. But I think everyone can use a lesson in scrolling. Like when People post a thread that annoys me or I think is misplaced I simply scroll by it. once you guys realized what it was it was time to…

I don't think that everyone was nice. No one was mean but still pretty judgey. lol. I still don't think that anyone is being mean. Only super judgey and uptight. But that is what you can expect from the internet

@SezxyStef This is why I posted it

To be clear: When I cook at home, I weigh my food. When I eat out on weekends and sometimes during the week, I trust the website or the menu even tho it will not always be accurate. I cannot and will not stress over it. I workout enough to cover extra calories because I never eat back my exercise calories. Honestly, I…

Just don't hold your breath because you will be waiting for a while ;)

You are a breath of fresh air on this very stuffy thread <3

Oh dear, I am pretty seasoned at this whole weight loss/ logging thing at this point. I will leave the griping and belly aching to the newbies.

This is a good idea, but I ordered online and picked it up so I didn't see them make the bowl. I was shocked and delighted when I opened my bowl. I don't eat back workout calories so I will be fine. I thought maybe fellow chipotle lovers may share in my delight. I was wrong :(
-
My bad guys....I haven't posted here for a while and forgot how incredibly uptight some people are regarding calorie counting...
-
I don't know how else to log it since I don't know exactly how much it is. I use their site to calculate the calories based on how much they're supposed to give you.

I've had mine for a couple months...loved it but lost the charger so I have to buy a new one :s

I disagree. I weigh almost daily and rarely get discouraged because I have a realistic expectation in my head. I'm aware of daily fluctuations and only TRACK weekly. The scale is only discouraging if you're expecting to lose 2+ lbs per week. Because I know that I will be losing slowly .5-1lb per week, I am never really…

Leftovers do not cause weight gain. Measure the food that you put on your plate. Eat it, track it. Don't throw perfectly good food in the trash. Save it for later. Eat it, track it.

"How do you get your hair like that?" or "Is that all your real hair?"

I plan to stuff my face on Thanksgiving and Xmas! and try to be as good as possible the days leading up and following. I've decided that from now until the new year I'll be okay with just maintaining so as long as I don't gain, I'm good.

I started out in March at 1200 calories. at the time I was super diligent about my diet and at all of the right things and sometimes it was hard to even hit 1200. Since then a lot has changed. I've lost 50lbs but the biggest change is me adding heavy lifting into my workout routine. Some days I am ravenously hungry! So…
