You lost a little over 3 pounds per week. That is a 1500 calorie per day deficit. If you added 1000 back in and ate 2100, it would be a lot safer than what you are currently doing. Don't use the hot tub! I think you should get the doctor's okay for both of the first questions. I got the doctor's okay to continue lifting. I started in March 2012. I stopped lifting until my first appointment though, I think you should let him/her examine you and see your overall fitness level so you can discuss it.

They are okay but 1200 is a low amount of food. Generally people who are gaining at this number could stand to eat more to lose. I lost no more weight at 1420 than I did at 2100. Make sure you try to exercise. 1500 or 1600 net would be a better try for a month then adjust. I don't find those meals very filling either...

Go with him to the grocery store and pack your lunch. Good choices at panda are non-fried dishes paired with steamed rice and no fried appetizers. Taco bell has fresco style tacos to cut down on fat.
