Oh I am newish to weightlifting and have never tried for one Rep Max on leg press...do you work up to it similar to bench press? I have not done it in awhile but I can do 10 reps of 270 pounds which is twice my body weight

Don't be embarrassed to use the arc trainer, I used it the whole time I lost the first 30 pounds or so. Up to 5 days a week for 30 minutes each time :) I challenge you to try and it watch how many people hop on and then quit while you stay on. It's a really good piece of equipment and gives you a great workout.

I work my way up to one rep max and lower back down (not all the way to my warmup) to continue the workout. If the bar on the smith machine counts as 30 pounds then my one rep max is still only 100 pounds but I think that is okay, I will get stronger! :)
