Welcome back. If you haven't already done so, re-take the MFP questionnaire. It will then recommend the number of calories, carbs, protein, fats and sugar that you should be consuming each day. Good luck.

Congratulations!

Welcome! I sent you a message.

Welcome. From time to time, most of us fall back into old habits. Don' let it get to you. We're all here for the same thing - to get healthier.

Well said, especially the last paragraph. Congratulations on your weight loss.

Good job!

I also use Skinnytaste, the Picky Eater and Canadian Living Magazine recipes (esp. because they have nutritional counts).

Think of this as a dress rehearsal for your cruise next year :-) (I read your profile). Enjoy your vacation, keep an eye on what you're eating and drinking, exercise when you can and enjoy your family!

Love the recipe. Great profile pic too :)

Leslie Sansone has a lot of videos for every fitness (and non-fitness) level so that you can work your way up to the fitness level you desire. Some examples are on YouTube: Start walking 1 mile walk 2 mile walk etc. Good luck!

I use a product called "Afterbite". It can come in a stick or in an ointment form. Calamine lotion can also be used, although you'll likely have little pink dots all over you.
-
Congratulations on your progress. You look like your YOUNGER brother!

You might want to use the Search function in the Message Boards section of MFP. I put in bike seat and a lot of information popped up. Good luck!

Welcome! MFP is a great tool and the Community is awesome.
-
I second that! Congratulations!!

Drama has always received more attention - just think of all of the soap operas and dubious reality TV shows. Congratulations on your hard work in weight loss and in life.

Another month before the lake is warm enough to swim. Can hardly wait. Added bonus, watching the wildlife as I swim by (I use breast stroke or side stroke)

Wrenegade64 wrote words of wisdom. Many of us (including me) have been in the same position. The main thing is to not beat yourself up about it. Just keep one foot in front of the other. Pre-logging what I plan to eat works for me. It lessens my tendency to want to eat without thinking, Keep at it! You can do it!

My go to websites for ideas are: Skinnytaste.com The Picky Eater blog I just had the following salad with a chicken breast tonight,. Awesome and good for you. The nutrition counts are even in the MFP database so I guess I'm not the only one that likes this:…

Great job! You look amazing!

I like nelinelineli's idea. Also, MFP's food database is extensive. You could check the database for an approximation of your favourite order.

Very eloquent. Congratulations!

Your hubby is a keeper! Smarties - available in Canada - not sure about the US: 230 cal for a 50 gram box; 37 gram sugar. Smarties jingle When you eat your Smarties do you eat the red ones last? Do you suck them very slowly or crunch them very fast? Its candy coated chocolate So tell me when I ask.. When you eat your…

Kudos to for thinking of this situation BEFORE it occurs. Have you spoken to the manager of the cafeteria about stocking some healthy items? You mentioned an office. Sometimes hot soup eaten at a desk is more aromatic than canned fish. Suggest Tuna snack kit, containing canned tuna salad and crackers Lo fat crackers…

I find that a mid-morning glass of skim milk would work for me. If you don't have refrigeration where you work, put the milk in a thermos or freeze the milk in advance.

If you're not fully aware, consider pre-logging your food before you sit down to eat. Then you know where you stand in terms of your calories, etc. for the day. Think of logging your food like writing a cheque. You wouldn't think of writing a cheque if you didn't know what was in your bank account. Only you can take the…

Hi Helena, I've sent you a note. Also, see Barbiecat's group for ladies over 50.

Congratulations!

I don't know about you, but I noticed that I would always overeat in the evening ( not morning or at work). So, I've tried to save calories, within my allotment, for that time. Sounds like you are under enough pressure now. Would you have time for a short walk or some kind motion after dinner to lessen tv time? It might…

The great thing is that you like fish. All of the ones you mentioned can be baked or broiled and you may even like them better that way. Most restaurants will accommodate your requests as those of us of a certain age  flock to Florida. If you want to splurge a little, you could take a long walk along the beach to…
