Thank you for sharing! This is exactly why I read the success stories and yours has definitely been one of the best I've ever read.

Great job and such a great idea. Normally I'm not a fan of comparing myself to others except when it works! Woo hoo! Enjoy Vegas!

Love the photos. Congrats!

I put on a pair of shorts that were tight less than a week ago and now I'm going to have to use a belt to wear them comfortably. I was in a change room today and I saw my back in a mirror and I could actually see my scapula (sp?) on both sides.

5"5 131 (ish) 34.5 chest 26.5 waist 36 hips (Earned! If I don't do my lunges, this falls to 35 in a week.)

That is amazing. So inspiring. I'm still too chicken to try Insanity. :-)

WELL DONE! And I'm with you, weight loss is a personal choice and everyone has their own comfort zone when it comes to weight. When I'm moving from the fitted clothes in my closet to the stretchier ones, then its a problem for me. I've learned in the past two weeks that I really need to stay accountable. Also, eating less…

Beautiful.

I binged a lot in my twenties. I wasn't much of a purger because I was terrible at it. I found that writing down everything I ate and calculating the calorie value helped me immensely. I had a minor binge last night and I wrote down most of it today. It sucks but seeing it written out there (and knowing that I was going to…

Thank you. I feel like I should have reasoned this out (as it makes sense when you think about that glycogen deficit that is created from the initial quick weight loss) but weight loss/weight is so emotional that it clouds reason sometimes.

Wow! Well done!

Congratulations! Our health is the most important thing and thank you for reminding me of that.

With me, it really helps to log the food after I eat it. Knowing the number of calories, the lack of nutrition, etc. generally makes me unwilling to do it again. I ate 10 cups of popcorn this week and I did not enjoy seeing that number pop up! However, no matter what, temptation will always crop up. Also, don't discount…

Try to let go of that number on the scale.

SPAM! or any jellied meat. Ugh. Also, randomly, sandwiches. I don't like when bread gets soggy and in sandwiches its almost always soggy with either tomatoes or certain types of meat. And, I find mayo pretty disgusting.

My face gets very red when I work out or get hot or sit in a sauna or get embarrassed, etc. It's a symptom of rosacea for me. It hasn't progressed because I don't smoke and moderate my caffeine and alcohol intake.

When someone asks you to work in, do not say, "I only have 1 more set (or two or three or whatever)" When someone asks you to work in, it's gym etiquette that you let them work in.

Lovely! Thank your for sharing your story and the pics.

Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for. Congratulations on your transformation. You went from hot to SUPER-INSANELY HOT!

I've been drinking lots of water and while it doesn't help with my weight loss (or at least not significantly that I've notice), it helps to keep my energy consistent and my skin has improved since I started doing it (Jan 2013). I aim for around 9 cups a day.

Very helpful. Thanks people. I don't think I could ever eat only 1200 cals a day, unless I was tied to a chair in my basement.

Sorry if I've misread this but it sounds like he's throwing some mixed messages at you. "You're the only one I want" but "not right now." That's hurtful. And then for him to tell you that you're the one who's not committed? That sounds like he's being emotionally manipulative, making you feel guilty for wanting something -…

my first instinct with most body shot pictures and ALWAYS with video is disgust. But that's first instinct. Give it a few days, then look again. You'll probably be surprised at how your opinion will change. I think our eyes need to adjust between the perfection we see in magazines on a daily basis and the reality of how…

I admire your dedication! I've only gotten blisters once (I have crazy tough calluses though) and I run about 5 times a week. I had blisters only once on the tops of my toes and they were caused by improper fitting shoes. I switched back to my regular shoes - saucony's - and have not had a single other blister since. Once…
