  • Another Enell fan. TOTALLY worth it!
  • Record the lecture is my first recommendation. That way you can go back and listen. If there is a powepoint or outline that the instructor has print it out and then you don't have to take notes on EVERY. SINGLE. WORD. That's not very efficient. I'm a nursing student and honestly taking notes on EVERYTHING said would be…
  • My husband rocks. He is completely supportive of whatever I want to do in life, be it this or other things. Having a supportive spouse/partner doesn't mean that they do everything with you, but that they encourage you do to what it is that makes you happy. My husband has lost some weight because we both eat better now, and…
  • 30ish calories, black coffee and sugar free creamer (just a splash) no sugar. I mean daily if I have an alcoholic drink then I log it like I log anything else I put into my body but it's a rarity. Otherwise drinking your calories is a huge waste.
  • I started out at 242 and lost the first 40lbs pretty quickly, about 2-3 pounds a week for the first 6-8 weeks! It slows down after that to the normal 1-2lbs a week but it's GREAT motivation to keep going! Edit; It took me about 1 1/2 years to lose 80lbs, then unfortunately I started nursing school and gained some back, so…
  • If you've had a child insertion is pretty easy, if you have not it can be painful but it's quick. I LOVED mine, and only recently had it out after the full 5 years, the hubby got snipped so no need for another one. If you can take 600mg of Ibuprofen beforehand and you might feel crampy or bloated for a couple days…
  • Yup still drink it, no sugar, splash of cream. I drink it because you won't like me without it. Just not worth it for ME to give up. I have given up things as I've gone along because I realized that weren't THAT important to me. ONE cup of coffee in the morning is important to me so I keep it. Not getting rid of it ever…
  • I used to hate it, C25K helped that. Then I got hurt and then lazy and suddenly I woke up one morning thinking "I miss that!" Don't do it if you don't at least tolerate it, there's so many other things you can do for fitness than run. You don't have to be a runner!
  • I wanted to be a veterinarian. I worked as a vet tech for quite awhile. It was okay but found out I really wanted to be an RN. I'm only 2 semesters away from that now!!
  • Invest in tailoring, really, buy the bigger size to fit the girls and have the waist nipped in. For a couple nice dresses it is TOTALLY worth it! www.modcloth.com has a lot of great stuff if you like retro. Signed- a 40DDD that is down to a 36D and loves the big girls!
  • Local brews (Wisconsin) Especially New Glarus Spotted Cow!

  • I almost always work out in the evening between 7-8 and I'm in bed by 10:30 (up between 5:15-6 depending on the day). I'm a full time nursing student, wife and mom. That's the only time I can get it in. I never have a problem falling asleep but I'm pretty beat but the end of the day anyhow LOL If you do have sleep issues…
  • Wisconsin Currently 30 Married at 19 (husband was 25) our one and only child was born when I was 24, I was pregnant when I turned 24 actually. We're done having kids.
  • Broccoli is my favorite one with lots of iron that isn't a red meat or bean! I'd see the doc too but you can have low iron just sometimes and it not be a big issue. My mom and I donate EVERY time we can and once and awhile she's low on iron but it's only occasional. I'd start a multivitamin too!
  • There's a lot of pages already so I didn't read them all. Buy an Enell Sports Bra. They're like a corset in the front and hold the girls in place!! Without one I couldn't have run, I was a 40DDD and now at a 36D I have another one and love it just as much! They make all the difference in running for me and I never heard of…
  • Oh a GREAT sports bra is definitely key! I love the Enell Brand. They are FUGLY but they work super well. I'm on my third size and if I lose any more boob I'll have to find a new brand :( because they don't come smaller than I currently am.
  • I don't really share similar stats but I will say I started at 40DDD and now I'm at a 36D and my boobs are similar in "perkiness" as they were before. There are women out there who get saggy, but it's impossible to predict. If they bother you save for a boob job/lift. I still want a bit of a reduction/lift.
  • When I got married I was pretty far in the zero camp. I even warned my future husband that I really didn't think I wanted any kids. I was 19 he was 25 when we got married. We ended up deciding together to try (and have) one after we'd been married 4 years. It took us a year and a half to get pregnant. Our son is now 5.5…
  • Two years ago I decided I was done. I was done being fat and hating myself and not being able to do the things I WANTED and not being able to buy the clothes I WANTED. I had started back to school already and I knew that being a nurse I was going to tell people that they needed to lose weight and be healthier...who was…
  • On Sunday night I had a Mike's Hard Limeade AND two s'mores. It was totally fun! I even put the picture on Facebook I was having so much fun.
  • I'm a lefty and I'm VERY left handed. I can use a scissors right handed but I'm much better at it lefty. I play all sports lefty, and kick left footed even. As far as we know I'm the only lefty in my family ever. At least none of the oldest generation even remembers "trying" to be lefty when it wasn't allowed. So I'm a…
  • Yay! It's so worth it. Remember you'll need 3 or 5lbs hand weights and a mat if you have hard floors to do it too. You can start with soup cans if you need to! I'm finishing level 3 on Wed!! I'm down only 2lbs in this 30 days but I can tell my measurements are going to show a difference!
  • My dream is to be a nurse. I put it on the back burner for a looong time. BUT I'm not only 3 semesters away from graduating. I did my pre-reqs in 3 semesters and have one nursing semester under my belt now. Only 3 more to go! I always had an excuse about time, and money but nothing was changing so *I* changed. I started…
  • I absolutely notice a difference if I eat the same amount of calories in good food or junk. My weight just stalls out, or increases because of sodium too. So while technically the answer might be a calorie is a calorie, I don't really believe in the real world that anyone who has paid attention knows that there is a huge…
  • http://www.hometownfavorites.com/online-grocery/best-selling-grocery-foods/ That site carries some things that we think of as discontinued. I have a friend who lives in Connecticut and I mail her a case of Pickle flavored chips every year because she can't get them there. So find a friend in another part of the country, or…
  • This is a real thing! I have a friend who's actually been to it LOL! He owns a regulation Beer Pong Table now.
  • LOL!! Was that nominated for "Best of Craigslist"? It should be.
  • Make your own salsa! You could can it!
  • I was thrilled when I went from a 40DDD to a 36D. In the end when I'm at my goal weight for at least 2 years I'm going to get a lift/reduction if they are still bigger than a C cup at that point.
  • You could always go in and change your settings on the day you work, under guided for the option of standing/walking all day. I think nurse might be mentioned in that group and CNA would qualify, even though you might do more lifting than some of the nurses (and I'm a CNA and a nursing student so I can say that LOL :P).…
