Wow very inspiring!! I'm between 255-262 and my weight never seems to go below that even when I exercised a lot and cut out all sweets and all beverages besides water it still stayed the same so this is inspiring to me...you look great and your baby and your bullmastiff are soo cute

If you want to lose 18lbs I would recommend losing it first because when you incorporate weights you might gain even though your body is getting toned. I personally will be running and doing weights because I'd like to tone as I lose. Good luck...I think its mostly personal preference

Would strength training be considered 10 minute trainer, 30 day shred those kinds of things? Or if I run with weights is that considered strength training? I want to make sure I'm getting both in. Generally because of my home, work and school life I can't go to a gym so most things I do have been DVDs

Has anyone tried the asics shoes? I've been doing a lot of research and have read several of their gel models are great for "heavy" runners. I am going to take everyone's advice though and see about finding a place that will properly fit me. I do know that I tend to put more weight on the insides of my feet

Thanks everyone for the comments, support and motivation! I would be running outside as I don't have s treadmill and I find looking at the same thing boring. My doctor has given me the okay to do cardio whatever that may be the only restriction she has put on me is if my symptoms pop out to stop what I'm doing and to not…

What is HIIT? In the past I'be walked a lot, done zumba, 30 day shred and started p90x but recently my doctor told me to hold up on p90x until I lose some weight/ get in better shape

Thanks for all the comments. I want to lose weight yes but even more than that I want to reshape my body, if I'm 257 pounds like I am now but I'm fit that's fine with me. I also want to improve my overall health. I have some heart problems so the more I can do to make my heart strong and healthy the better.

Thanks for sharing! I was reading up and it says to start where you run a little than jog than run etc til your body gets use to running more. I really want to give it a try
