  • I know exactly how you feel! I recently graduated college with an extra 30 pounds on me from when I started. It sucks but we can get there :) Added you!
  • I've gone back and forth with MFP but I'm finally making a difference too. :) Add me! I'm on here daily.
  • I'm 23 and have been using MFP for around a month now! Anyone feel free to add me if they need some extra support. :)
  • I used to weigh myself daily but it was driving me nuts even if I had only gained an ounce from the day before! Currently, I've been weighing myself once a week sometimes less. I also like seeing the pounds coming off opposed to an ounce which I would see when I used to weigh myself daily.
  • The other day I made dark chocolate cupcakes but substituted a can of diet coke instead of what the box tells you to add. I used cool whip as the frosting and they turned out AMAZING. Even my boyfriend who has hated past low cal desserts I have made loved them. They're very low cal - 100 calories per cupcake.
  • Welcome :) That's great that you're making a change to your lifestyle! This is a great community with tons of support and has definitely helped me on my journey. Good luck!!

  • I LOVE spaghetti squash! I usually cook it in the microwave and depending on how I feel I'll add a little bit of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and some freshly shredded mozzarella cheese. I think it acts more like a spaghetti substitute when you put some pasta sauce on it though (I use healthy choice). Either way it's so…
  • I have tried so many diets over the years as I've always battled with my weight and I can honestly say MFP works. Cutting out the diet soda is a big step! I had an addiction to soda as well but realized that it's bad for your body and actually makes you more hungry. Drinking enough water is a huge thing as it helps flush…
  • Welcome! :) MFP is such a great way to lose weight. I've been loving it!
  • I want to look in the mirror and honestly say I am happy with how I look. I'm doing it for myself!
  • DO NOT TELL HER. Weight is one of the most sensitive subjects to a woman. By telling her, you're making her feel like you aren't as attracted to her because of it. Instead, maybe you should make a healthy dinner together or tell her you want to join a gym and have her be a work out buddy. You don't have to be so blunt…
  • Thanks everyone! I may get the fajitas but I also saw a grilled shrimp salad on their menu which I think may be my healthiest option since it's just grilled shrimp and veggies. The chips are going to be tempting!
  • I'm in a similar boat as you! I lost almost 40 pounds years ago when I was young because I had always been chubby growing up and a family member always liked to point it out. I've gained back all that weight over the years plus some and it sucks but all that matters is that you're trying again! I blame taco bell a little…

  • I've never done zumba but I've heard it's fun and a great work out. I downloaded this app on my iphone called nike training club and it guides you through some awesome work outs! It's good for me right now because I'm in the process of moving and don't really have time to go to a gym and work out since I'm busy packing.…
  • You've already made some great progress! I'm just at the beginning of my journey and have a little ways to go but I'm pretty motivated to get there. We can help each other out! :)
  • There were a few times while I was in college when I went out with my friends to the bars that someone had made a comment about my weight. It was hurtful but then again you can't let what others say bother you, I realized. It will eat you alive - being happy with yourself and who you are is more important than what a…
  • hahaha love this
