  • i guess what i meant to ask was, do you change your eating habits the day after or do you just go on like any regular day? .s.
  • hahaha! i shoulda seen that one coming. good call good call.
  • thank you very much for the support. i really hope and will pray that your friend no longer has to deal with this situation and that the courts serve him justice. you're so right, it happens way too often, the same thing happened to my father and his ex wife, she moved outta state with the children and he never saw them…
  • yeah you hit the nail right on the head, "there is nothing worse than someone who thinks they have all the answers for our lives". lesson LEARNED. ahahahaha. thank you!!! .s.
  • thank you for your support!! i so greatly appreciate it! .s.
  • awww. thank you for the support, i could use all i can get. it's nice to know someones on my side. i know it's going to take a lot for the courts to try and take children away from their parents say like evidence of physical abuse, mal-nutrition etc. and Milla (my daughter) is nowhere near that. i come from an abusive past…
  • miralax. but i also gave her a tablespoon of olive oil
  • i just wanted to thank you all for your time, thoughts and concerns. i got a lot valuable information that i greatly appreciate. i'm so thrilled to know that myfitnesspal is filled with people who are supportive, that give the time of day, and who care about the well being of eachother. after 5 days of no bowel movement, i…
  • OHHHHH SNAPPPP!!! i KNOW your pain trust me!!! i can't offer you a solution because i still fight with myself on this, but i have learned a few tricks. drink a lot of water. and realize it's not that i'm hungry it's that im tired and my body wants more energy (food) .s.
  • thank you for the information. i'd much rather give her something natural then laxatives. *sigh* wish me luck.
  • i've heard that sometimes... it's a good thing to "shock" your metabolism. it could trick it to work twice as hard the next day because it thinks "here we go again". of course this subject might be up for some arguement. .s.
  • does it matter if its extra virgin olive oil? about how many tablespoons?
  • thank you for your kind words and suggestions. much appreciated! .s.
  • i have not tried this yet, but i remember the dr. suggesting it. i had no idea what kind of "oil" he was talking about. i will try this. thank u! .s.
  • i'll say it before anyone else does... PILATES!!!!
  • no she's not afraid of the toilet. she'll go pee. and trust me ive tried the pull up so that she can go since the issue started when she starts potty training. i guess i'm gonna have to see a specialist. thank u for ur help. .s.
  • trust me, i dare not judge your parenting! i'm so frustrated if it were the same circumstances i'm SURE i would try this method. .s.
  • i WISH the problem would subside once she gets home. like i mentioned i was hoping for a good summer vacation regularity but nope
  • a teaspoon of what kind of oil? olive oil? how do you give it to him? just like medicine or do you mix it? she's actually very good in school with no signs of add or adhd. she's very focused and disciplined, except the pooping. .s.
  • yes she's on miralax now. annnny day now. and i better break the earplugs out while shes in the bathroom. .s.
  • thank u for your help. i'm getting a second opinion because her primary dr. acts so blase about this situation. maybe a specialist. .s.
  • between you and i we could write a book about poop. anyway, she's been on laxatives/stool softners for while, but i think its all anxiety. i really didn't want to give her any laxatives at all because i didnt want her body to rely on those methods in the future, like you mentioned, but i only give it to her when i notice…
  • i don't think you're crazy at all. it makes sense. and yes ive tried to sit her on the toilet for a certain amount of time to allow her to go, she just screams bloody murder and cries. books, no way. thank u for ur help. i wish you and your lil one good health. .s.
  • you know i thought about parasites and viruses as well. but then wouldn't her appetite still be around? cuz it's pretty much not. how does one get tested for these things? blood tests? .s.
  • yes i think she gets embarrassed to go #2 cuz she'll go pee no problem. and she didnt start having these issues until she started pre-school. i don't think it's a fiber problem either because if you knew all the different diets changes i've tried... hahaha got its rediculous. it's just hard to explain psychological issues…
  • is metamucil for adults only? she's on mira-lax but not really having sucess.
  • she's been on mira lax for a few days now. she's been off and on it for a few months. i also give her the senna product, but its in a quick dissolve tongue strip. she's actually still potty training. she'll go pee but not poo. thank you for your help. .stephanie.
  • thank you that would be most helpful. i get so irritated when the dr's brush me off like it's not a big issue (probably cuz i'm a young mother, i'm 24) so they think, oh you worry to much get over it. this problem has been pretty darn consistent for 6 month now. .stephanie.
  • i'm so glad you didn't take offense to my question, it wasn't meant to be taken in a negative way, so cool that you answered! it was just something i read in dr. oz's "you on a diet" book. i thought about it and laughed when i put my temper and my chip habit together. I agree with the philosophy of, "if you're gonna beat…
  • i heard the nuva ring works wonders from a close friend of mine that has been on it for awhile and tried to recommend it to me, only my insurance was giving me a hassle. I heard it's the best contraceptive method when it comes to side effects (since there are less) anyway, i thought the SAME thing about weight gain and…
