I am 5’8 and currently 175. I started at 225 and got down to 157. I think 165 is my optimal weight for my build and activities so I am working to get back there now! Always love adding friends.

My name is Susan and I started IP in October 2015. I lost 65 lbs. I have kept all but 20 lbs off since going into maintenance in September of 2106. I am back on phase 1 to remove those 20 lbs.

The program worked very well for us as we evenly placed our meals throughout the day. It is also a Ketosis based plan which does seem to curb hunger as well.

It took my husband about 6 months and myself a bit longer at about 10 months. I was a slower loser and took a few weeks off for vacation throughout the year.

Congrats on your loss. I recently lost about 65 lbs and am now maintaining. I used a calculator to set my Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and then added that goal daily to MFP. As long as I stay within this and do eat back at least half of my workout calories, I have been able to maintain.

Because I am turning 40 this year and decided I want to be a healthier person in my 40's than I was in my 30's!

I am 38 years old and live in Washington. I have two kids (6 & 9) and a very supportive husband. My goal for this challenge is to lose and maintain 29 lbs. Mainly I need to improve fitness and my food intake at the same time as I have done both but never at the same time.

I am Susan from Seattle. I am starting over on training for a 5K. This challenge will be helpful. Thanks!

My goal is to have at least one small victory every day. Anything simple that is a choice I make that leads me to be healthier. I am keeping a calendar of these small wins to remind me that it does not have to be 100% all the time.

I completed Week 2 Day 1 yesterday and it went just fine. We are suffering from a heat wave up here in Seattle. Yesterday it was like 80! Today it is already 94 degrees. I try to do my 5K training every other day so today I will most likely do some strength training or walk after the sun goes down. Keep it up…

I just completed Week 1 of the Running Mate 5K101. For those of you who are having trouble with the C25K program, give this one a try as it starts slower with only a 2 min jog followed by walking on Week 1. I did this program at the beginning of the year and completed a 5K in March and it was awesome. unfortunately I then…

Hi, I am Susan from Snoqualmie, WA and I am joining this group for my first month. I am trying to be more intentional about daily activity, so this will be a fun challenge. 100 miles seem achievable if I pay attention. Thanks for organizing!

thanks so much for sharing. You prove that there are all sorts of paths to take, but they should all lead to confidence.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. Your writing skills and flow make it feel like we were with you every stage of your progress. My goal is 165 as well and I just yesterday printed out the Couch to 5K program. Thanks for the inspiring story!

Fantastic, and thank you for sharing. We all need inspiration to keep working towards a goal.

I love a challenge. Shooting for 60 miles.

OK. I am in. I just bought the book. A co-worker just started Phase 3 and she looks fantastic. I am hoping this group will help me stay disciplined through the full 17 days. I am anxious to get back to my pre-pregnancy / college / athletic shape form! Current Weight: 212 lbs Goal Weight: 185 lbs Height: 5'8

A group is just what I need. I made it to Day 12 last time before going on vacation. Will take measurements and weight tomorrow.

I love this challenge! My goal for April will be 150 miles total on my FitBit. Most of this will be walk/jog but if it gets sunny, I am hoping to get back out on my bike.

I love this thread. I have been wondering for a while if my calves would get smaller as I lose weight. I was a catcher for over 10 years. Folks always said my knee's would hate me someday. My knee's are fine, but I have pretty big calves. I guess I should be happy about that. But I do miss some cute boots. 17" here.

Just in time for tank tops.

I am in. I have been plateaued for just over 10 days. Would like to get the numbers moving again.

Bump.

Started level 2 today. I could do most but it was harder than level 1. But I remember that I got much better as level 1 progressed. We can do this.
-
That is so exciting. You must feel so proud of yourself. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi There! I am doing the 30 Day Shred for the first time and I am on Day 6. Just yesterday I felt ready to do the Advanced version of Level 1. I plan to move to Level 2 on Day 10. I will send you a friend request and we can compare results. I am going to do another measurement on the 13th. I can definately feel some change…

I say anyone strong enough and tough enough to lose over 100 lbs can wear anything they want. You look great!

Congratulations! I started at 219 and would love to get to 165. It is so inspirational to read about those who have similar numbers and achieve success. Thank you for sharing.
