I don't feel hungry, however I do feel like I want to eat but that's completely mental/emotional.

I used to LOVE Biggest Loser. But I had to stop watching after whats-her-name ended up looking sickly at the weigh in. That was it for me. And Jillian left, which I loved her, so no reason to watch.

Bowl of Ramen (authentic from Korean grocery store), with added veggies, can of beans, and sriracha. Also tuna salad made w/Miracle Whip, Horseradish mustard, dill pickles on a small roll with some green cabbage for crunch. I ran out of lettuce.

if you're just "wanting to want something", that's all emotional, imho (which I totally get!!)
-
don't change anything, give it a few days and then reevaluate. It's waterweight if you ate the same as normal.
-
as long as you aren't hungry what does it matter what time of the day you're eating your calories?

I was down 19 at Christmas. My thyroid meds have increased over that time. But I don't attribute that to my losing weight. I think it's reasonable to assume that if you lose a substantial amount of weight your thyroid meds may need adjusted down.
-
how long ago did you get back? If you JUST did then the 10 pounds is probably partially water weight. Honestly if u go back to eating as you did before the vaca, I expect you'll lose around half that in a week.

I technically restarted about a week ago, but I'm in! I had been down to 153 at Thanksgiving & then again right before Christmas. Gained back up to 160 though since. Ideally I'd like to get to 130, however I'm just taking it one day, one week, one pound at a time.

Especially since it requires time travel!

I so understand this! Definitely my issue as well. I'm not sure I get quite as high as 5K (more like 3500), but I will sit there and eat an entire BAG of chocolate when I otherwise rarely crave or want it. Also chips are a big one for me. I can't say I've found a solution yet, but I do try and stick with pickles as a…

i did too. went up 4 lbs from before Thanksgiving till Sunday morning (mostly water apparently b/c i'm already down 3 of those). But it is definitely hard to get back to the grind of "dieting"! I'm just trying to do my best and not beat myself up too much if I go over my daily goal.

yes, i log my weight everyday.

I'm finally able to fit into all my size 13 jeans again! I've had one pair of 14's that have basically been my only real jeans for the past 2 years, and now I need a belt for them & have about 12 pairs of "new" jeans to wear.

that sounds low. Try here, http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html Assuming light exercise, you're at 1756. In my opinion, everyone's at/close to light, with everyday activities. Also, and I admit I don't know your situation, but you are technically underweight, so if you gain for a while that's not a…

did you get your test results? If not you should. Sometimes they tell you that you're "normal" when in fact you're not. Many doctors are using outdated ranges that have now been proven to be too broad. Not saying you DO have a thyroid condition, but it's better to be absolutely sure you don't.

That's not 1000 net, that's like 300-650 NET. You could do it, but I doubt you'll feel good or be able to sustain it for a long period of time.

i don't like alcohol, but i do like to eat. That won't ever change.
-
another thought, how accurate is your scale? if it's an older type with the dial, you may not actually be up 7 lbs.
-
I'm 158 and burn 600 calories on the elliptical in 60 mins. 605 today by the machine's estimation. If heart rate is more accurate though it's actually higher. Granted I DO push myself to my limits, or as close as i feel comfortable but I just mean I don't think it's outside the realm of realism.

yes, in fact i just bought 2 new pairs of work pants and i'm debating returning them for a smaller size. They're already slightly roomy (so when they get washed they won't be too tight) and now i'm questioning that. I mean, if I get the smaller size now, I can hopefully wear them comfortably in a few short weeks. And I've…

I work with a few guys who lift/workout and are very fit, they do basically this. They watch their intake very closely during the week and then that allows them to have beer, pizza, wings, etc on the weekend.

My HDL went up slightly from about 46 to 54, so very little change. I do agree, a large part is genetic. My father had high cholesterol and blood pressure from a very young age as well and he was thin.

up to you! i change it up. If I'm hungry I'll eat breakfast (like right now!) but I generally try to keep it small if I do b/c I know that for me I want a decent sized lunch especially and then to eat something other than a small salad for dinner. With 1500 calories/day, not easily done (imho). So, skipping breakfast when…

If she put on a lot of weight in a short period of time and is shutting herself off from friends, honestly I'd approach it in an, "I'm worried about you having depression, let me know if you want to talk" kind of way. B/c to me that's what this sounds like. And approaching it from a weight perspective (if true) is not…

Awesome job! You look great! :)

yeah, seriously fire your doctor.
