  • Thank you, it does help. I guess I've never thought about the fact that if I "let go of the log" completely, all at once, that I would drown in emotions. There has been so much going on in the last year and a half especially, that it is easy for me to see the reason for binging on junk food. Thank you again and good luck…
  • totally normal! Mine will get itchy also.
  • Can I say my 18yo self? I really miss her, but somehow she's loaded under all this fluff!
  • I've had TN for 22 years now, even though I'm only 48. I have atypical TN, where I have constant pain and then stabs and lightening bolts. My pain is on the right side, all three branches of the nerve (above the eye, cheek, and jaw). I tried a microvascular decompression in 2000, but the lack of pain only lasted 3 months…
  • Happy Valentine's Day to all my new MFP friends! I hope your loved one will remember your new dietary plans when choosing VDay treats. :flowerforyou:
  • My daughter's boyfriend <*smack*> because he hasn't found a job in a year, don't think he's even trying. And the daughter <*smack*> for staying with him. Also to my same daughter because she can't stay in the hospital with a serious kidney infection without sneaking outside for a cigarette and <*smack*> threatening to…
  • my favorite is definitely berries!! Sprinkle nutrasweet on them and pop 'em in my mouth....just like that.
  • If I am veg'ing in front of the TV, I grab two low cal, low or fat free items as well as a 2 liter of a diet drink. I know this sounds extreme on the drinking, but it keeps me OUT of the kitchen area. Like last night I had a Fiber one 90 cal double chocolate brownie, an apple and a diet soda. I just pour glasses I might…
  • I have been in such awful pain for 9 or 10 years. I allowed myself to sink into depression that has hurt me and my family... it's true. I want that to change before my three daughters leave my home and move on to their own. That is what has inspired my change probably more than anything else. Thank you all for letting me…
  • WOW! All of you, just amazing! I broke my ankle a year and a half ago...haven't walked since. When the doctor put in rods and screws I developed a bone infection...staph, of course. Now I am having the leg below the knee amputated soon so that I can walk again. Running is a long way off right now. Go get 'em everyone!!

  • I am happy we are all talking about this. When my hubby and I sell our house in the next few years (2 or 3) I think we are on the same page about replacing our mattress and box spring set then. Has anyone bought the bed that the head elevates, a foam one I think? He snores like a freight train and usually sleeps on…
  • I know this will sound absolutely horrible, but I've had my pillow-top mattress since I was pregnant with my third child, 17 years. YIKES! I know some docs say that's not healthy. However, it's in good shape. With my condition in the last few years the bed was not cushioned enough for us. Last year my husband brought home…
  • I see a lot of people saying they are on insanity. Can I ask what it is? I have insanity, but I don't think it is the same thing.
