LOL, that's not a bad idea, I should get a Professional Private Waxer license, couple it with a liquor license for the "anesthesia" part.... although I am not sure I want women hating on me for causing them pain (however temporary) :)

I wax my car sometimes, it doesn't really hurt, but if I do it vigorously enough I might feel a little sore afterwards. :) Hope the comic relief numbs the virtual pain I feel after reading all these posts. WHY am I reading it? Good question.

No. Edit: I know, short answer :) I can't see changing your mind about someone because of their eating, and then quitting. If I didn't like it (ex, eating unhealthy) and I care about the person (else why be with them in the first place), then my duty would be to help with the struggle instead of abandon them.

I think the OP presumed that you are the owner of the house (or at least think you are involved in the ownership). Would never complain about the decor, but certain things allow you to do certain things better if the decor supports it... for example, tap dancing is pretty hard to do on wall to wall thick carpeting ;)

Nope, we are overweight because we consume more than we burn. Genetics has an impact on the latter, and indirectly on the former IMHO (will power, self control etc), but it doesn't matter.

"working out 2x" - sure, you'll be fitter, ramp up though so you don't injure yourself "faster" - suggests all the wrong reasoning, which is why you are getting such strong responses. Shortcuts don't work. Being fitter/more active works.

PS. same thing with "muscle tone" which I think you mean "muscle gain". It is incredibly difficult to gain muscle. If you lift weights hard and regularly, you can count on 1lb a month or so, so again, unless you are a serious resistance trainer, quit worrying about that/using it as an excuse.,

Too much silliness on these forums about this topic. Do whatever you want. Unless you are at an elite athlete training level (marathons, etc) this is really irrelevant, and the hour-or-more-eat-half-back advice sounds like a reasonable thing to follow.

Same here.. I can go all day without food, but then I get home, smell food, or see the fridge, and I'll eat the whole thing. Err did, before I started this journey. Now I eat a number of times trhoughout the day, have lots of protein, and rarely if ever get hungry. Today, my rest day, I worked out side all day on the yard,…

Everything you eat, think in terms of how much effort will it take to work off, or whether it is worth the value for the calories. For example, a few weeks ago, was offered a slice of pie.
