When I first started losing weight about 6 years ago, it took a year to lose 80 lbs. Unfortunately, I gained about 20 lbs back in the past two years due to illness. Am working my way back.

This is taped to my mirror in my exercise corner: "You will never become who you want to be by remaining who you are." When I get frustrated or lazy, I look at that to remind myself why I need to do this. Great quotes from everyone!

People tell me that I really don't need to lose weight, either. But, they're not the ones looking in my mirror. I may not need to lose a lot of weight, but I would like to improve upon what I have. I get it.
