I would never skip breakfast. I usually have Oat meal with added Fiber One, Blue Berries, Cinnamon and Flaxseed. I swap out some times for Eggs and Whole Grain English Muffins. As long as your routine is working for you, there is nothing wrong with it. Some people will complain that Cereals are too processed or too high in…

I did the Adkins diet for a while with great success. The only time I felt run down was in the first two weeks, this is usually attributed to dehydration. I stayed on the diet for about a year when I hit my goal and switched to a different life style. For a while I had a hard time sleeping at night so I started long walks…

the term clean has meant different things over the years. That said I'm not following any of he popular books out today. But I have a family member with Cancer who is following a macrobiotic diet. First to support her and now because I believe it to be a better way to live I have started eating my own version of clean,…

yea that sounds correct. congratulations for making the decision to start and welcome to MFP. Good Luck on the journey and don't get discouraged when it slows down or at plateaus. For plateaus I like to think every week I'm not gaining I'm winning. eventually you get through the plateau. again good luck.
