What size of weights are you using? Are you using the same weight throughout the level? I am using 5lbs weights for everything.....

Day 4, level 1 complete but I think I need to do more in order to lose weight! I went ahead and looked at level 2 ~ did about 50% of it watching Anita. Combining both level 1 and level 2 in one session felt like more of a workout for me.

^^^ this is me!!! I am 5 feet even and I started at 161lbs and right now am 151lbs – my current goal is 135lbs – hope to lose this before May 15!

Thanks for all the replies - I am on day 4 for level 1 today and it's getting easier so I may consider moving up a level before 10 days are over. I am sure I will stay on level 2 for longer than 10 days.

Last night was L1D3 and it was okay – I feel fine today and was okay while doing it so I’m wondering if I should move up to level 2 sooner than day 10. I am pretty weak in my arms – using 5lb weights I have a hard time with the static lunges/side lunges and combining those with the arm raises – I have to take a quick break…

Today is Day 3 of Level 1 for me! I took yesterday off ~ I think either Sat or Sun will be a break day for me.

Does your HRM tell you how many cals you have burned? Or do you just monitor your heart rate? I don't have one and was wondering what difference it makes to your exercise log than just using the details already in the database...

On the 30 day shred DVD there are 3 levels each being a 20 minute workout.
