I have heard that the 3 day Shakeology Cleanse is good. I personally have never done it before. Maybe some MFP'ers have and can post their results for you.

Very recently I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid. I lost 30+pounds in 2010 and then I started to slack off my routine and the weight came back on and very quickly. In Dec 2010 I was a size 10 and this year I am a size 16. I'm on meds now and hopefully will see a change soon. Thanks for all your posts and…

Thanks for the great advice. I love to read so I'm going to see if my local library has the books you mentioned.

Its been suggested that you gradually change to raw foods. I will probably continue to eat chicken and fish as well. I'm excited about the plan and look forward to seeing how my body adapts. 10lbs in 2 months is great for someone not really watching calories so I'm encouraged that its the right plan for me right now.…

I have not done it but have read alot of good things about the program. She also does TurboFire. Let me know how you like it once you start, please!

hello. i hope you find someone in your area BUT the good thing abou P90X is that you can do it at home. i bought my set off Craigslist and it has worked out great for me. just pop in a dvd when you have an hour to yourself to work out.

i upped my calories to 1600/day and have seen additional weight loss. i was at 1200 but plateaued and read some other posts about upping my calories. i was hesitatant at first but it has worked and glad that i did it. i usually work out 5 days a week for 2+ hours at a time so my body needs the fuel.

that's great advice. i am on my first round of p90x and when i read the nutrition guide, i figured i should consume 2600 calories. this was very confusing to me at first so now i just try to eat the right things. i am going to change my goals now too and see if that helps kick start my weight loss. since doing p90x i've…

That's cuz you a good ole' cajun boy Ray! I love Lousiana seafood! And who can turn down Popeyes chicken right out the grease?? LOL. My guilty pleasure are Doritos. I can and will eat the whole bag.

from what i've heard...you have to be in somewhat good shape to start insanity. so your current fitness level is important. i am doing p90x and chose not to use the pull up bar for very similar reasons. i bought the resistance bands and use them instead. p90x dvd's show you how to use the bands too during each exercise.…

that's awesome. i have managed to loose only 30+ lbs in 5 months. its been really tough and i have to stay focused otherwise i plateau and get discouraged. i try to mix things up and watch what i eat. i am feeling good and looking forward to reaching my goals. keep up the good work!

Every day...except the days I don't (haha). Seriously, I try to get in something everyday like a P90x DVD, jogging, elliptical, walking. I feel soooo much better too!
