4:30 and a place at the bar

Yeah, and I predict it would be enjoyable for both of us. :)

My kids were each 15 before google was a real thing. It was handy, since if you didn't know something, you could ask them because they knew everything. :D They are 32 and 26 now, they don't know quite as much, and there is much less drama.

Smug disdainful ignorance. Not sure if that's irrational or not. Oh, and people who start talking while I am still saying something. That REALLY eats me up.

I've been doing this more. Go out and order what you want. Get a to-go box with it, and immediately put half the food in the to-go box. Eat half for lunch at the restaurant. Eat the other half later in the week, or for supper. :D

Past couple of days, I kept having to pull up my britches. Then it hit me. I notched one over on my belt, and everything is stable now. :D

OJ - 140 calories in 10 ounces. Surprised me.

Yup.

Focussed.

Nice as a general rule, naughty when necessary.

1. I really dislike people who talk over me, and I avoid them if I know they are around. 2. I can solve most Jumbles in my head, even the ones on Sunday. 3. After work, I am going to a bar to drink cheap wine. Price points are important to me.

As a practical matter, I always flirt with my female bartenders, right off the bat. Really helps service and improves the pours. Nothing fancy, just a "you look fantastic today" at the very start. Well, I sort of do that with everybody. It never hurts.

Gotta fall back on Dr. Seuss - the people who mind don't matter, and the people who matter don't mind. Blow it off, everybody makes a mistake. The only ones who don't are the ones who aren't doing anything at all.

Yes indeed.

It's a random thought, but it's a real strategy. By its nature, you can't tell if someone is ineffective, or evidently clueless, or needlessly confrontational because that's how they are, or if it's a deliberate attempt to appear less capable than they really are, and under that cover advance a strategy that you would…

I always wonder if people do things or try to look certain ways just so everybody underestimates them.

Thinks up the phrases that they use on Wheel of Fortune. Won an emmy for the phrase "ham and eggs".

Driven.

If you want to do it, go ahead. Who cares what anyone else thinks about it?

Come on, smile!

An individual broccoli and ham quiche. About 242 calories. :)

Very translucent quality.

I've been taking generic bupropion, 150mg in the morning and one in the afternoon, for about 4 years. While not necessarily something that makes me lose weight, it definitely helps suppress my appetite. If I skip one, I find myself snacking. I haven't had any issues. I am in a maintenance mode. YMMV.

The blues, pizza, puns, blueberries, terriers. Oh, and bars. :)

I dunno, it seems a little awkward if there are two of you in an elevator and you just don't say anything at all. Small talk is also an ice breaker, and opens the doors for a more meaningful conversation, which may or may not ensue. Also, it's difficult to hit on someone without any opening communication.

- Your doctor quits nagging you and checkups are way less stressful. - Not all the people who are now flirting with you are the ones you want to interact with. - You wonder why your pants are slipping off, and after pulling them up by hand for a day you realize you need to notch your belt in one notch. - You can dance…
