I find that the food does not taste as good as expected so it doesn't make it worth it. I just found out that some of the Danton yogurts can be frozen, that may help the ice cream craving. And when I want a sweet I will have s spoon of peanut butter and jelly, just in the spoon, the jelly is way too sweet and it takes the…

jayrow473, I have very low energy due to cancer tx last year, I just bought a pedal exerciser, you sit on a chair and pedal you can also put it in the table and pedal your arms for upper body, it was just $29, I still need to put it together but it's a start, try one minute a day or every other day. KarenGa4, you are doing…

Remarkable before and after pix. Congratulations!

I lost 40 lbs with WW 25 years ago, did not learn how to eat. WW and other programs I've tried want you to purchase their products. In one program I ended up gaining weight because I ate so many protein bars. I like MFP because I can see the nutritional value of what I am eating and make adjustments. The community is…

I'm interested in the Cize for the dance exercises. Back in the 80's before step aerobics I went to aerobics and loved it. Now I have lower back issues and am wondering if the Cize has appropriate exercises. Haven't searched much on the internet for anything else yet.

Great job roaringgael! You look terrific. Good exercises chuckyjean, I forgot about the planks, back when I was exercising I liked doing them. Always good info on this thread! Have a good week everyone!

It's also very interesting to see the posts by the men who are losing weight. Some make me laugh and say who'da thought!

Griffinca2 - like you my MD told me not to lift anything, I have three bulging discs. I'm glad the time change is giving us more daylight so I can at least walk after work. Nana - congrats on you weight loss as well. I too am eating what I want. That's what I love about MPF. I did not eat processed foods until a couple of…

Made it to onederland a couple of weeks ago, it was anticlimatic. I'm glad I'm there it seems like just yesterday that it would never happen. Lost 31 lbs since Oct/Nov don't remember. Prayers to all of you with health issues or loved ones with health issues. Remember slow and steady and we'll all reach our goal. This is a…

[Dave_GettingFit How looking in the mirror will feel like looking at an old friend I haven't seen in years instead of the complete stranger I've been avoiding looking at as much as possible for so long. Exactly!

Woo hoo! Keep up the good work!
-
Congratulations! I'm short and have a longer journey to overweight but one step at a time.
-
Wow! Me too!. This morning I weighed 199.2 and have lost 30 lbs. Two goals met - first lose 10% of my weight and 2nd was wonderland. It wasn't as exciting as I thought. But we did it! Congratulations to you and keep the momentum going.

1Nana2many - I read David S Johndrows most recent post. He has been through so much. I am going to start from the beginning of his blog too. And Nana aka Jody, I enjoy your posts and the many good posts from other folks on this site. This is my second time with MFP. It's the only way I can lose weight successfully. I'm 63…

I'm 63 and also lost before with MFP and Weight Watchers. I prefer MFP, I can eat what I want and know what good food choices are. I've had a variety of health issues through the years and am finally at the point and age that I know I need to take care of my body and my health which is a gift. I have lost 17 lbs and need…

This thread is better than before and after pics.

Amazing. It's great that you can enjoy life more and live many more years with your family.

I know the all or nothing approach to weight loss. What is nice about MFP is that you can have some of those foods in moderation. But if it's a red light food stay far, far away. People make snarky comments because they have nothing better to say. Perhaps you can reply "Why thank you!" and make light of it. After years of…

Me too, I'm 5' 3 1/2 and wear a 9, 9 1/2 shoe.

Your doctor will be pleased with your BMI as will your health insurance company and you should be too! Congratulations.

Good job! Keep counting calories while you're in the cast, you can still lose a pound a week and it all adds up before you now it!

What great motivation! I'm 5'3.5 and have started shrinking in height in my late 50's. It's true short people show the weight a lot faster. One thing I've learned and we can see with the photo threads is that body frame means a lot in terms of weight. I didn't think I could every lose weight until I found MFP. I lost 15…

I absolutely see a difference! Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged you're doing great!

Very impressive everyone! This is where I go for motivation. Thank you!
-
That is awesome! Congratulations - and your underwear is very cute and colorful! :)
-
Wow! That is amazing.

You both look great! Keep up the good work!

I know the feeling. I need to lose 90 lbs and keep going back and forth with losing 5 - 10 lbs and gaining some back. However, this is the only program that made me realize I can lose weight. I need to measure and weigh my food and get some exercise. What's discouraging is to lose 20 lbs and no one notices! But we'll…

Your body just needs a break. You've lost a lot of weight - we don't all respond to weight loss the same way. Try going to the library for fitness books or tapes for new ideas on working out. You should be very, very proud of yourself.

And you LOOK pretty too! Keep up the good work!
