if you have a roller you could try that, massage out some of the knots - the other thing I find that works is do a lighter version of what caused the pain in the first place.

You can do it, make sure to set a time for working out and stick to the schedule - hardest part is getting a routine going and sticking to it (takes a couple weeks to get into the habit). Also do not get discouraged if you are not seeing scale changes as fast as you want, you may still be losing fat tissue as you develop…

Every vitamin I have tried makes me sick to my stomach, and I eat fairly healthy. As far as lead and arsenic are concerned Beachbody changed their recipe because of the increase of those items in their protein source so that they wouldn't be an issue.

Great job!
-
I use Shakeology also, more for the vitamins than the protein, but the protein helps  and it tastes good

If you love peanut butter, try the PB2 it tastes just like peanut butter but only has about 40 calories to 2 tbs.

You need to enter your activity level as well - it comes up 1200 when you put in sedentary, if you do work outs and are sure of your calorie burn you can add those in as well. If you have a active lifestyle change your activity level to active and it will increase the amount off calories for your base goal.

Tapering off the soda helps with the headache and icky feeling you can get from stopping soda (I had some stomach issues stopping soda) also drinking sparkling water (I like the talking rain flavors with no sugar added) helps also with the need for carbonation. Also you will need to substitute something with the same…

Start with logging what you eat currently, that gives a starting point for tips on food. What to eat that is healthy for you, eat fresh foods versus fast foods if possible. Balanced nutrition between the food groups, low sugar intake, and eat stuff you enjoy.

I am currently logging in every day and could use some more friends

I have heard that the recommended weight lost, that is sustainable is about 1 pound per week, with being down 7 pounds in 2 months you are doing a good job  For faster weight loss you would need to weigh and measure all your food so have exact serving sizes for calories consumed and need a heart rate monitor to more…

Something to keep in mind when you are working out, muscle weighs more (for the same volume) than fat, so you may be losing inches faster than weight as you tighten and tone your muscles. 1 pound a week is the healthy recommended maintainable weight lose goal so you are doing good. Try not to focus on the scale as it…

welcome to myfitnesspal, hope that it helps you reach your goals

That would depend on how much protein you are already getting in your normal diet.

I thought you were talking about the work out program Brazilian But Lift - it is a lot of fun :)

The 1200 calorie diet is set for a deficit already, when you add in a work out you get more of a calorie deficit so can eat that many more calories if you want to, you do not have to though. 1200 calories is also the lowest you can go without depriving yourself of essential nutrition. Hope this helps

For Quinoa I do a lot of the same stuff I do with rice - Spanish rice using quinoa is really good.

Had to look it up - 19% is a good body fat to be at as "According to the National Institutes of Health, the recommended amount of body fat for women is between 20 and 21 percent." I have been doing some of the Pump workouts as companions to the Les Mills Combat workouts - only real way to judge your burn is a heart rate monitor and even that may not be accurate due to weight lifting burning calories a bit differently then pure cardio - since my HRM batteries were dead have been guessing based on how…

Are you getting enough to drink? Sometimes thirst comes accost as hunger.

what madtown_jerem said - there is nothing else really to add to that.

What to do is hard to say - if you are not going to make a permanent lifestyle change in how you eat, then it would be better to find the balance in food that you are eating that you can and will keep with - being fit isn't a get were I want and stop - it is get were I want and maintain. Food is hard - try and make the…

Hi, friend invite sent - if you can only get threw a week of Insanity it may not be the program for you - what do you enjoy doing for exercise and fun?
-
Both are great programs - think about what you guys enjoy doing and look to see which program is a closer match - best programs are the ones you enjoy
-
Worth it if you enjoy it and stick with the program

Chalene Extreme uses dumb bells and is a good 90 day program. I have tried it and it is fun. I have not tried Body Beast, but have seen good results from people who have been doing it.

Set up a schedule for exercise, don't just leave it for whenever - I have to do it first thing in the morning or I find reasons not to do it. Pre-prep meals to take to work with you if you work outside of the home. Have a support network to motivate you from day to day Do not stress the scale - take a starting weight and…
