  • Ok, I'll just ask it..... How did you ever get overweight then?
  • I lost a good chunk on it. But then cut my last 2 cardio days in favor of rest days and more heavy lifting. It will make you lose a good amount of weight tho!!!! Have fun! Watch some tv while you do it, time flys by.
  • You could always use my brothers approach, take out 5 or 6 hundred dollar bills and use them everytime you pay for something. The date may cost only 40 bucks or so, but using a hundred dollar bill each time he says works magic....
  • Msg 110: The number you are trying to contact is no longer in service Works every time.
  • There is nothing wrong with eating at night. In fact I do it every night. :)
  • USC!!! Fight on Trojans!!!!!
  • Hi Jayne, congrats on the .5 lb loss!!!! The individual leavls your talking about are your macros, they have little to do with overall weight loss but can play a big role in overall health :) mfp sets you at default numbers, which are changeable to fit your specific goals. You can change them to whatever you like, so do a…
  • I can't do that and I'm 25, that guy is a beast!!!!
  • Exactly!!!! The worst advice you can give someone is unsolicited advice! Do your thing. If its working for you, then awesome! Don't tell everyone that your way works and they should do it.
  • I did it years ago. It is a good program. Fully recommend giving it a try if you'd like. There's no one way that works for everyone :) what I will say that is very good about that program is that it will not starve you like crash diets do, and works in a very similar way to mfp where you log your food and make better…
  • I don't have kids, but I will say this: be very carful in what you say to them....I still remember the day my self confidence and self worth was taken away from me by a family member....I was 9. And I've NEVER regained it....I struggle with it everyday of my life. Even now. Losing the weight wasn't enough...I'm not obese,…
  • Trust me, I thought the same thing when I started. It's not the case...I thought being larger gave me a disadvantage or that I was being overlooked because of it. It turns out in in the same place with the weight off so it wasn't that haha.
  • My advice in this situation is to look at their nutritional info, and make your decision based on what you like and what will fit into your cal limit for the day
  • I'm lifting hard before. Put those calories to good use!!!
  • Alcohol is seen as a toxin by the body, so for the time it is in your body everything else gets put on the back burner while your liver trys to get rid of the poison. It harms fat loss to a good extent....
  • Your 100% right. It's laziness....plain and simple. Btw, were not the only country facing this....the uk is catching up very rapidly.
  • This is true, it was an experiment to prove that cal deficit alone causes weight loss, not what you eat. It can be done with any food actually. I could eat nothing but French fries and have similar results by making sure I didn't eat over my daily cal goal.
  • Just remember: no one ever got fat from eating one bad meal. Just as no one ever got slim eating one good meal. It's what you do the majority of the time that counts. :)
  • I have a bad back as well...I stretch it out good before I workout and It seems to help. As far as the chest pain goes you really should ask your doctor, that is something that shouldn't be overlooked or ignored. My lungs hurt from running when I first started (pack a day smoker at the time) so if its that I would say…
  • If you live in an area where you have Internet (non third world countries) you will never truly experience "starvation mode." Omg I ate 1300 cals today and worked out so I dropped below 1200 and now I'm in starvation mode....or "I see the problem, I didn't get fat from eating too many calories, I got fat from eating too…
  • This^ I'm becoming closer with my friends who like to workout, and less close to the ones who like to just party all the time.
  • It feels like yesterday I was making this post. You can do it, no matter what, just know you can
  • When I hit goal I plan on gaining weight. I'm going to maintain for a few months and then start my bulk. So I guess I'll be in that 95% haha, but in a good way!
  • Thanks man. Going a little over on your sugar and fiber won't harm your weight loss efforts. :)
  • That's a good mom :) mine was the first person to tell me I'm fat...
  • Lol, fats are an important macronutrient man, just like carbs and protein
  • Peanuts are high in fat and cals. Keep in mind that roughly 25-30 percent of you diet should be fat. Healthy fats, like the ones found in peanuts, alvacodo, and olive oils. To be honest peanut butter (natural kind) is where I hey a lot of my daily fat.
  • My trainer said his started to show after he went under 10% bodyfat. I'm at 14.6% now, I'm looking forward to hitting 12 :)) hopefully by next summer I can be around 10

  • Small amounts, but you should try a little of everything they made, if its store bought, leave it...that's acceptable, if you refuse to eat their cooking it can considered rude. It's like when I go to my moms for dinner, she makes everything....it's all pretty high in cals haha, I mean who butters green beans?!? Lol…
  • The way I appear to myself in the mirror is the same way I've always looked to myself....286lbs or 193 lbs I still see the same thing.... It's very strange to me....maybe I have this as well. In pictures I literally don't recognize myself.
