Pre workout can be taken half hour before working out and it helps take nitric oxide and oxygen through the blood to the muscles to give your muscles more pumps and helps you to work out for longer.

I too recommend taking whey protein too :-) I would take first thing in the morning and again at bedtime. The tablets take the ammonia and lactic acid away from your muscles so you can train harder and cleaner. I take 2 after I have worked out, but some people use for intra workout. You can take in the morning too. You can google how to take this product.

Wow! That's fast! Is that just running one mile and then stopping? If so I don't know how fast I can run just one mile. When I run 3 or 4 miles my time for an average mile is around 8.40-9mins. This has taken me a year to get here. I generally run a 4 miler in 35/36 mins. Well done

Thanks I had dropped all weights to drop scale weight but it ain't happening so apart from running like a mad woman I decided this took my fancy. Thanks for the advice :-)

Slim fast is full of sugar. You should probably have a meal for lunch and then a slim fast in the evening. I don't rate diets like this but if it works then each to their own. x

Always do strength and weight training and then cardio after, it gives better results :-) and as long as you are eating clean and taking 1 or 2 days off a week from strength training you will be dandy :-)

Yeh I know what you mean but on looking it up it does say you can out run the splints? I will take a few days break and test I supose, I just hate not running :-(

Do you mix it with water or milk? I would recommend using an electric mixer either way as their protein is still bitty when you shake it. If you get a protein that is tri filtered you won't get the bits :-)
