Quinoa is a sub you can use in the place of rice and it is a good source of protein. Almonds are another good snack that would give you some protein.

Not really a recipe but my family loves to take the banana still in the peel and place it on the electric burner until the banana is really brown. This caramelizes the natural sugar in it and makes it wonderful!!

I just purchased a sportsline universal combo at wal-mart for about $50. I just bought it yesterday but I do know it allows you to program gender, age, weight, height and set zone for your heart rate. I read the reviews and they seem good.

I think it is the start eating right tomorrow. Something I too need to work on. I think if I eat bad I need to correct it immediately with the next meal, not tell myself tomorrow. Cause sometimes that keeps me off the wagon for weeks!!

Sorry to hear that your lap band didn't work for you!! I have been blessed to have a wonderful support group through my doctor and a wonderful patient advocate also. I can honestly say without them and all the pre-nutritional training that my insurance made me go through mine probably would not have worked for me either.…

I say good for you!! Most of us were just twenty pounds overweight at one time and before we knew it it was thirty, forty, etc.. I think whether it is five or hundreds of pounds everyone needs support. So you can count me in!!

YAY! I did it but i used a free ticker website to create a short term goal ticker for my signature and have my long term on my profile. I will have to see if I will have to manually update it or if it will update itself!! Thanks for the help!!:flowerforyou:
