I like the elliptical better as its easier on my knees. I find that in a 30 min session I burn about 250 cal on the elliptical and only about 150 on the bike. Other people at the gym have told me that they like the bikes and spin classes better, it may just come down to personal preferences. The best workout for me though…

I think your fine to keep the elliptical if you want. Perhaps if your machines have different programs you can experiment with them. Like for example I do mini goals for each week; Week 1 might be to increase the distance in each session while keeping the time the same, Week 2 you could keep your heart rate above a certain…
