No food preparation skills, so I relied on fast food and packaged foods. I was also physically addicted to soda to the point that I'd get a headache if I didn't have it for the day (like some people get headaches if they don't get coffee).

You can overeat on the wrong foods. For instance, a tablespoon of olive oil is 120 calories yet you won't feel it's effects in terms of satiety, and thus will still feel hungry. Frozen bananas and a little water in a blender make a delicious ice cream substitute. Bananas are high in resistant starch. A great weight loss food and so easy on the go!

Eating a low-fat plant-based diet helped me lost almost 90 pounds. I eat upwards of 10 bananas a day plus a giant salad, as well as other fruits and veggies. Green smoothies area great way to add greens to your diet with a fruity twist. Eat as many fruits and veggies as you wish, you can NEVER go wrong!

My perspective on this has completely changed. I love going on dates now. I have so much more confidence and I've stopped obsessing about my looks. I could probably stand to lose 10 or 15 more pounds, but that doesn't seem to bother guys like I thought it would... Sometimes, we are our hardest critics.

When I first lost the weight, dating was very difficult for me because I thought I was bigger than I actually was. It has gotten so much easier for me. When I open up and can be myself, I have a great time.

I lost nearly 90 pounds and still deal with the "fat girl" mentality. It's been less than a year and breaking the mindset is difficult. People tell me all the time how good I look and guys hit on me constantly, but all I can think is... there must be something wrong with them.... Sad.

Pasta is a refined product. I'd recommend you try and stay as close to nature as possible and eat unrefined foods like brown rice or potatoes. Additionally, watch what you are putting on these foods because that's where the added calories may come from (oils 120 calories per tablespoon, butter, etc. ).

Only those high in fat content (avocado, nuts, seeds). Besides that. Eat away!!!
