Congrats on losing weight! What a tremendous accomplishment you have made so far. I am on MFP again, after a long hiatus. I've been really discouraged. I'm hoping to do better this time around. Feel free to add me as a friend. I would be happy for us to help support each other. Best of luck, either way.

I'm off corn, dairy, wheat/gluten, soy and eating solely organic. I use coconut milk products to replace dairy. I just don't buy much pre-packaged food anymore. I rarely can eat it. Good luck to you. Just eat clean. Think one ingredient foods, or at the very least keep the ingredient list to a minimum.

That is wonderful news! Congratulations! :)

Yes! I'm struggling so much right now. Even going to a doctor for help. I am having a horrible time losing weight.

I live in Portland, Oregon, USA. I feel safe in my neighborhood. I generally feel safe in Portland. Would I walk around in the wee hours of the morning? Yes, and I have. I am never armed, I don't like weapons. Anywhere I am in this world, I try to stay in populated areas, and fully believe in the buddy system. I use common…

Yes, too much water can wash away electrolytes! People have died from it. Drink the recommended amount of 8 - 8oz glasses a day, or check with your doctor because body weight can determine how much you should drink. Also, you need to keep in mind that with a lot of exercise you will need to replenish. So, I would follow…

be glad to add you - stay strong, you can do this!

you can add me...and anyone else here who needs more support can add me too. Looking forward to supporting each other.

I totally agree. I have a slow metabolism. Eating kick starts my metabolism and I lose weight. When I don't eat back the calories, I feel weak. I just eat the right foods for me.

I haven't been able to find unsweetened coconut flakes. I just buy it in the store.

I think it takes a lot of inner work to start seeing the person you are and not the person you were. Start by looking in the mirror and no matter how hard it is, give yourself a compliment. Even if it's just once a day...Maybe the next day go for two. Hang in there. You ARE beautiful, but YOU need to recognize it first.…

Yes we like to hear it. Working on improving self esteem is not easy, so I have to remind myself to accept the compliment and say thank you.

That is fantastic! I am so happy for you!

That's interesting. I didn't know that. I prefer the Blue Diamond Almond milk anyway, but I have bought the Rice Dream. Thanks for the tip.

I understand your frustration. I get you hate his choices and not him. Sometimes in frustration we say something harsh without meaning the literal sense of "I hate...". That's just human nature. I can appreciate your need to vent and looking for some support. I sort of thought that's what MFP was about, but clearly others…

Loved the movies but having a horrible time getting through the books. Got through The Hobbit (coming out soon) and The Fellowship of the Ring. I am stuck in Two Towers....Tolkien is really dry. But brilliant.

Feel free to add me! Anyone for that matter. I need more support too and would love to be supportive to you. I'm 39 with a special needs teenager. Although, I don't have more than one, him having special needs takes up a lot of my time. It's so hard to fit in "me" time. Good luck to you in your journey! :)

I've been fighting Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Adrenal Fatigue for a while now. Some time ago, I couldn't get off the couch. Literally, I was so drained. The worst fatigue I've ever had. I am finally past that point. Not that the fatigue doesn't still hit me, it will. Especially, if I'm stressed. I've been told to eat at…
