i run intervals a few times a week and also play roller derby. i modify the schedule a bit to fit my schedule. when i can't get to the gym for intervals, i'll do combat or insanity before beast. i agree with the poster above, beast cardio is a little lacking.

I completed a 30 minute cardio session then worked chest today. it was supposed to include triceps buuuut i overslept. so no time. i'll tack them onto another day.

i've done insanity. i am not a huge fan of it lol. i started running and doing my cardio at the gym instead. i got great results with insanity, but it made my body ache like no other and i had to take way more rest days than i usually do. it's a tough program! good luck.

for me, it was the comfort of being in my own home. i didn't have to worry about awkward stares or people judging me as the "fat person at the gym" (i know now most don't really do that but i was pretty self conscious). it was hard as hell to start but i stuck with it and it got easier. i liked seeing my own strength…

right now the gym is awful haha. everyone is in it and they are rude and messy. it gets better though. or you need a different gym. i get wanting instant results but it just doesn't happen. and it's discouraging but for me, the long run is what makes it worth it. if you hate the gym that much, you could try some at home…

ah i hear the boring bit. i tend to pop in some headphones and zone into that while yelling/encouraging myself (in my head) along the way. or if i get a good spot, i watch the travel channel or hgtv xD that seems to help for me, except running. i can't focus on tv while i run; that takes every ounce of concentration i have.
