  • Do u do any weight lifting aside from your job??? I have a physical job where I'm moving steel all day but I also weight train on top of that...From my experience and from what I have read if u want to change your actual body shape (and not b a smaller version of what u are now) u need to do some strength training.... Also…
  • Try in on and give the big stuff to Goodwill...I got rid of 4 bags last week... Was actually a bit sad I had to give away some of the tops..OH well!!! I'll get over it lol..
  • Your stats where I started and cal burn/ physical job..everything are almost identical to me...I however am now down to 138......I did start around 170..... I have anywhere from a 800-1050 deficit on any given day and have been losing around 1 1/2-3 pds a week. I think your deficit may b to large....I'd personally try for…
  • I agree!!! I love to eat so i prefer to eat healthy(low cal. filling) food so I can have MORE food LOL...Other people may prefer a xtra value meal and eat once/day....As long as your in a deficit u should lose......What works for one won't work for another.....

  • Have u figured your tdee??? I find a lot of people THINK they are lazier then they really are LOL....you may need to make some adjustments there......How tall are u?
  • I would before......I actually weigh more after due to all the water i take in during my workout....
  • I would go in a deficit according to what your bodybugg is telling you..... u are already in a deficit according to your daily mfp goal but its even larger if you go by the bodybugg... maybe you are not eating enough??? I have a bodymedia and was normally in a 1200 deficit and lowered it to around 750 and dropped my xtra…
  • Keep in mind for people who are just starting out with the armband...it says u need to wear it a few days for it to get used to u and what u do....so the readings most likely wont be exact the first few days.
  • DID u figure your TDEE?? If you are still eating the same cals as u were before u started working out that may be the problem.... U may need to eat more...stick to it and make little tweaks here and there and give it a few weeks...I was stuck at the same weight for 5 mths...I sat down and figured up what i was eating a day…
  • When i worked nights (for 13 yrs) Id get home about 8 a.m, i had a hr. commute...I'd try to crash out after my shower then I'd get up and do my workout first thing (this is where i for better words started my day) You just have to schedule it in like an appointment and get it done......Also figure up your TDEE and eat at a…
  • Id say you are more then mod. active....I was in the same boat.. started at 172 and im 5'5"... I was eating around the same cals as u (1200-1400) and never lost for like 6 mths... I upped my cals to 1800-2100 and started loosing 2-4 pds a week...now that im down to 142 since dec it has slowed to 1 1/2 pds/wk.....I also…
  • Your not eating enough..Im 5'4" 142pds now and am losing 2-3 pds a week at a 2,000 cal average diet since december....I do hiit 3 times a week and lift 3 times a week....I didnt lose anything for about 6 mths at 1200-1500......
  • Your exercise is figured in your tdee...Are u eating your exercise cals back using the MFP way??? I was eating 1200-1500 for several months per MFP with no results and bumped myself up to 1800-2200/day(tdee way) and started loosing 2-4 pds a week. Yes its tuff to eat that much......If I ate junk it wouldn't b a problem but…
  • Your exercise is included in your tdee so do not eat them back..
  • overpriced pedometer IMO ... got rid of mine after a week and got bodymedia
  • I went to use mine a bit ago and it told me I had to have an online subscription and wouldnt log me in...Now i'm having problems lol
  • What dosage is everyone taking??? Ive bought some brands that the recommended daily dosage on the bottle doesnt even come close to what I was informed to take...so yes it would for sure b useless....
  • I use it and have had good results while on it (its actually in a pre workout I use now)... but Im also strict on eating and exercise..Using it alone without adding everything else such as exercise I havn't done....There really is no way to spot reduce trouble areas and the ab area is always the last to go.... Just keep…
  • mine has done the same thing...i just pressed the button in on the armband quick(not hold it down like u do when u pair) and then it would work.. I assume u already paired the band with your phone???
  • Ive read u have to wear it a few days for it to adjust...I got mine Sunday...Mine has been pretty accurate to what Ive expected I have been burning and have ate...I was losing 2 pds/wk eating what Bodymeadia is telling me to do to lose 2pds/wk.. so I think its pretty accurate.. .... Today is a snow day for me and so far it…
  • Did you meet him at Transformation camp??? Id love to go to one.
  • Did it 12 years ago with awesome results..got pregnant n life happened.. Started up again last year and am finishing my 3 rd round this week. As OP stated you dont count cals and have good results... this current 12 wks i decided to count calories and am having Amazing results.....I found by NOT counting I wasnt eating…
  • Yes Ive used it(scoobys) in the past... if you also go to hasfit.com.. under the articles section it will have the written out formula......Thats what I have been doing.....
  • BTW your TDEE (2607) is your maint. calories.... you take it x's .20 to get your deficit to loose weight... so NO do not eat back calories from exercise as you already figured that in thIS formula..
  • Your calculations look right to me....you already put lightly active down in your figuring so NO i would not eat your calories back as u already figured that in. Correct??? Mfp got way to confusing for me in regards to the eating back exer. cals etc. I write everything i do and eat on paper now...MFP always told me to eat…
  • Love it!!! Just bought me two more containers... Ive had pink lemonade.. pineapple(awesome) and I just got the new flavor strawberry margarita (havnt tried it yet)...I use one scoop and thats enough for me.. I find I get the tingles in my face when I use it but I love the stuff so i dont let the tingles bother me. LOL I…
  • Id rather rely on a heart monitor all day to track then a fitbit.... My reason is: where I work I stand in one spot lifting 2-5 pd pcs. of metal (forgings if you know what that is) 3 times a piece for at least 1500-2,000 plus pcs. a day. BTW i'm female and the only female in this dept. this is extremely hard on the body…
  • fitbit is great if you do a lot of walking, stair climbing .... I used mine for a week and then got me a heart rate monitor (mine shows calories burned at all times) not just a certain target zone. IMO the fitbit is a waste of money unless you walk alot. Mine just sits in a drawer now. :-(
  • EAS vanilla.
  • used mine a week. yes it does count how active you are by your steps... but i do strenuous work where i stand in one place moving 2-5 pd chunks of metal(forging) handling them 3 xs each (1500 to 2000+ pcs a day) that is a workout and it is not registered on my fitbit.... wished I would have purchased a newer heart rate…
