I guess it all boils down to whatever works for you. Weekends used to be my cheat days--I ate more than my daily calorie limit, not logged what I ate, and sometimes took a break from working out--yet I still lost tons of weight. The downside was that Mondays always turned out to be a rough day in terms of going back to the…

I did, but my weight tend to fluctuate because I just love food too much. I think I already accepted the fact that I have to log my food for the rest of my life (well, mostly) if I want to maintain my current weight.

Before I started, I had to get my jeans tailor-made because a 40-inch one wouldn't even fit me. Now I wear 32" jeans! Same with my shirts. An XXL before would be too small for me, and now I'm down to small

Ready-made meals sure are easier to log since they usually have the amount of calories printed on the label. But on the other side of the coin, you don't really know what's in them, and it might not be as fresh or organic or natural compared to when you make it yourself. The thing about homemade food is that it takes time…

I'm no nutritionist, but I've heard/read that it's a matter of what really works for you. Some people work out on an empty stomach, while the others have to fuel themselves up for workout (especially cardio). Personally, I don't seem to have any energy when I workout without eating. So what I do is work a few hours after I…

I'm currently into dystopian novels, and I just got a copy of King's "The Long Walk"

I agree. There's so much witty responses than any kind of illnesses.

I eat Nutella more often than peanut butter just because I usually use a small amount on a piece of bread; I find it too sweet. I can't say the same for peanut butter. The more peanut butter, the better!

Pushups are no bueno for me, but I love burpees!

I badly needed to see this thread today. Reading everyone's positive insights about this dreaded holiday weight gain was a breath of fresh air. Glad to know I'm not alone.

I used to have cheat days before, only to end up super guilty at the end of the day. So I just have cheat meals like once a week nowadays. I guess it depends on the person, but I think there's nothing completely wrong with it. I usually just eat whatever junk I fancy that time because what usually happens is that if I…

What was the first thing you changed to get healthy? -- Amount of food I eat. Before I used to gobble up a meal for two in five minutes. What was the hardest for you to change? -- The way I eat. I have to eat less, get rid of the junk, and start eating foods I don't even like (which I do now, btw!) what is your start…

Either lunch or dinner, but the latter most of the time.

Probably depends on how "out of shape" you're talking about. Like any other workout programs, T25 also has a low impact option, although some movements are still quite fast.

This wouldn't have worked on me before, but now almost all clothes I buy always have to be a bit small on me because I'd fit in them after a month.

A whole tube of Pringles in one sitting A bucket of fried chicken (around 8 pieces) in half a day. Totally worth it. A pint of Häagen-Dazs

I can't wear all my leather belts now because there's not too much holes on them. And to think I literally couldn't fit in them a year and a half ago!

As a junk food junkie, it was hard letting go of that habit. I sometimes still eat chips, but I eat multi-grain ones or whatever's the healthiest available. That's why I don't go to so many aisles in supermarkets. I tend to go around the fresh produce, meat and poultry, and the special healthy sections only, because god…
