We have sincerely chosen to change our lifestyle. No more soda, or fried food. Limit our fast food to Arby's and Wendy's salad & Chili. We're eating more vegetarian, mostly to increase our use and consumption of veggies. I've eliminated baked goods. We made this change almost one year ago, I look back and just shudder at…

Feel free to add me if you'll commit to log every day, and have an open diary! Good luck!

I just can't rationalize PAYING for something that you can do for FREE! And counting points doesn't help you out in the world when you don't have a point calculator. I've tried it, lost 30 years ago. Regained my sense of self, and changed my lifestyle forever with MFP & FitBit. THIS works if you let it!

Just keep putting one foot in front of the other(exercise), develop good eating habits, properly hydrate and be kind to yourself. Making a "new you" is not a race, and it surely isn't for sissies! Good luck, sent you a friend request.

You're amazing! I didn't really measure at the start, and I'm sorry I didn't! I do have one pair of "original" jeans from those heaviest day, and I think I'll wear them next year and dress up like a clown (complete with a hulahoop in my jeans and red suspenders). You.rock!

I echo all the sentiments. You've got lots to be proud of. Thanks for posting.

My husband & I are also on the journey together. We have lost a combined 120lbs, and going strong. We plan to log for the next couple of years, as this is a lifestyle change and we've had 50 years of poor habits to correct!

Open for friends if you are willing to log every day and have an open diary! Good Luck!

Anyone is welcomed to friend me if you are willing to log every day and have an open diary. Good Luck!

Nonetheless, it still plays with your head. I've been tempted to just NOT get on the scale for the rest of the month. Funny, I can log my food, work out for 60 minutes every day, stay away from food temptations...but can't stay away from the scale. What's up with that?!!!

Great job, and I totally agree about the arm/weight comment. I started in February and have gone from a ladies size 20 to a 14, losing 59lbs. so far. I have a goal of 40lbs. for the 2013. Am willing to add any prospective friends for support, if you are willing to log every day, and have an open diary.

...and yesterday I went (alone, something my hubby and I don't normally "do") and had my tire pressure checked. One was 12# low...could have REALLY inconvenienced us, in a big way. I keep catching myself doing things I didn't used to do. Wow! It's darned LIBERATING! We've held ourselves hostage for soooo long~ Keep…

I'm not a numbers person, but it seems like you are on the right track. MFP has a function to dial to your weight loss needs, I have mine set to 0.8/week, and I have 1260 calories daily. My Home>Goals>Fitness Goals>Change Goals>Guided. Then use the toggle on the last box to update your weight loss/week desired...safely!…
