Try any of the "weight Gainers" . If you look at the protein/carb/fat ratio's they right in line with any slimfast, etc. meal replacemnets, only the serving size is 4 times the size. Use one scoop insatead of 4 and it lasts a long time.Most of them taste pretty good too!

At the end of the day it has to be more calories burned than consumed. If you do this you cannot help but lose weight. For the most part , a calorie is a calorie. The debate on this is on going, in body building circle sky is the limit (up to 60 g). I have read reports from nutritionists that say only 30 g at on time. I try to stick to 30 g max from protein supplements at one time.

As was Stated before, the MFP levels are set very low to start with. Protein takes work to digest. Ever eat a high protein meal and feel warm/hot afterward? That's your body working hard to digest the protein! Way too much like 200+(unless you are a bodybuilder) is not going to help you, but I'd rather go over on protein…

The above posters are right. I see many people at the gym, running on the hamster wheels and they don't look any different than they did a year ago. I heard on Dr. oz, (it was on in the gym), that you can cut half of the butter out of recipes and replace it with pumpkin. e.g. if the recipe calls for 1 cup of butter, use 1/2 cup of butter and 1/2 cup ground pumpkin. apparently it retains moisture so you won't really notice the difference. Haven't tried it myself yet…

Try body weight exercises , get a pull up bar( use a chair to assist when you start), push ups, etc. some small dumbells is all you need to get started. You can buy this stuff used on craigs list/kijiji. Bodyrock TV and crossfit are great sites to show you how to lift properly. just don't go nuts at first!!!
