  • I've been vegetarian for almost 12 years now. I grew up eating McDonalds, steak and ribs and enjoyed it all. It gets a lot easier. It's like anything else--you make the adjustments and then it becomes second-nature. I have no problem going out with friends and eating vegetarian at basically any restaurant. I really love…
  • Sometimes you have to fake it till you make it. Try and be happy, do your exercise, and you probably will start feeling better. I wish you luck and happiness!
  • Really depends where your hotel is--north, south, could make all the difference. Regardless, you can take the Metra train into Union Station and from there Chicago is pretty easy to navigate. I would definitely see the Art Institute of Chicago (the new Modern Wing is awesome) and Millenium Park (right across the street).…
  • great work! you look FABULOUS!
  • Yeah I definitely see a difference, especially in your legs. Great job!
  • It's all about Enell. Yes, they are expensive, but mine has lasted for years and nothing is as supportive.
  • Unfortunately, a lot of people take it personally that you are on a diet, it is some sort of judgement on them that they should be on a diet. I've found it is usually just hurt feelings or denial and people express it through sabotage or disparaging comments. You being on a diet makes them take a harder look at themselves,…
  • I don't like drinking either--have alcoholics on both sides of my family and also don't care for the taste. I think people can just be pretty rude--what does it matter if you don't have a drink? What I have come to realize is that people do it out of insecurity. By you not drinking, they take it as a judgement against…
  • I've got over 100 to go still...feel free to add me!
  • Wow, you look wonderful. Congratulations!
  • You probably need to eat more. It's counter-intuitive and you might go up the first week. But I finally made the switch and after only losing 14 pounds over a span of a few months, I lost 6 this last week.
  • It depends on the kind of vitamins. I tried all kinds of vitamins and the only ones I can stomach are the gummy vitamins for adults. They taste great, don't make me sick, and I look forward to them every day so I actually remember to take them!
  • I have student debt. So I know the temptation to just say let others pay for it. That's just not right. You borrow the money, you repay. That being said, the interest rates are out of control. They should be illegal. Especially the unsubsidized which start running interest as soon as you borrow the money, not when you are…
  • I have zero coordination but I love Zumba. Not only is it an excellent workout, but it is a fun atmosphere where, if you are self-conscious about dancing, you will totally feel comfortable. Highly recommend.
  • I just the did the workout for the last time yesterday. I have a lot of extra weight. However, I have been going to the gym 45 minutes a day for the last 6 weeks or so. The workout was the hardest workout I have ever done, even when I was thinner and in shape. I would not attempt the workout if you haven't been working…
  • I only lost like a pound in 3 weeks. Going to the gym every day, staying within my calories, not eating any exercise calories. This week, I ate two higher calories meals and lost 2.5 so far. It does work.
  • Handsome and a Clay Matthews fan!!!
  • stubbed cabbage rolls!
  • I LOVE chilled avocado salad. Avocado, black beans, brown rice, tomato, green onion, olive oil, rice wine vinegar, and oregano. So refreshing and delicious.
  • Sexuality is a spectrum....some very gay, some very straight, some in the middle. I know more bisexual men than women, actually. And, no, not all women are bi or want to have a bisexual experience.
  • I was at a kid's birthday party where the parents wouldn't let their child open his presents in front of his friends because the other kids would get jealous. Kids need to learn they are not the center of the universe, not always first place, not number 1 in the view of the world. I think is the result is these younger…
  • You have a very good attitude and will definitely be successful.
  • I have seen women in tons of makeup at the gym. I think that's ridiculous. That being said, we should wear what makes us feel comfortable. A lot of people feel very self-conscious about going to the gym, so purposely wear larger, baggy clothes. To each her own.
  • I only eat Pure Protein. They are low sugar, high protein. If you want a real treat, try the smores type. Marshmallow just oozes out.
  • Don't worry about it. Stick with it and the weight will come off. It does get frustrating sometimes. I have only lost about a pound in the last 2 weeks even though I am exercising like crazy! But I can tell my body is getting smaller and that's all that counts!
  • Fried oatmeal is also a tasty treat!
  • I like roasting them or using them in stir fry. My mom also recently had eggplant lasagna--eggplant, tomato sauce and goat cheese are the only ingredients. Be creative using veggies in place of carbs or meat.
  • You're probably gaining a lot of muscle. Try altering your routine--like maybe slightly more calories one day and different types of exercise. Usually that helps me push through a plateau. But keep going!
