Sexual orientation

haha it's true, girls don't admit it. They "THINK" it's something else. Sometimes if you ask a girl if she's bi she'd tell you no, but then a week later she tells you she had a girlfriend.
Ask a girl this, "if you where watching an adult film, would you rather watch guy on guy action, or girl on girl action." This was done in a study. No one liked the guy on guy action, everyone liked the girl on girl action. This was tested with both sexes.
Sexuality is more on a spectrum. Guys are either very straight or very gay, not really in between. Girls fall in to the between category.
NO one likes guy on guy........???? *whistles, walks off in to sunset*0 -
It takes a real man to admit he's ever found another guy attractive. :P0

I think there are a lot of women who will not allow themselves to open up and let go of their inhibitions, insecurities and fears enough to enjoy a great many things. One of which is experiencing what there is to gain from being with a woman. I think those fears hold up a LOT of pleasure (not just from being with another woman) that they wont allow themselves to have.
THIS
Um, if a straight person said the opposite about a gay person, it would be gay bashing.
Is it really that difficult to understand that there are women out there in the world who have no sexual interest in other women? I have no problem with people being gay, but I'm not in any way, shape or form. The idea of kissing or having any kind of sex with another woman is not a turn-on to me.
I'm not afraid of it. I just have no interest in it.
I doubt I'm the only one.0 -
There's a bisexual and then there's the stupid 'bar sexual' girls :P
THIS!!!!!!!!!!
but I wouldnt know what a hetro girl thinks of feels cause im not one
I just find it really bad on some girls who do it just to get attention and free drinks from perverts. When there are real lesbiens/bisexual girls who are with their partners who just wanna be a couple and left alone, but they can't, because then guys come and bother them. It's really sad.0 -

Oddly enough, almost every straight man I've ever talked to about sexuality in deep and honest ways (usually while blindingly drunk) has admitted that Ewan MacGregor is the world's most attractive man. It's always him. Not that I disapprove of the choice, but I wonder what it is about him in particular?0 -
I've heard the argument that every person is bi before, but never specifically women.
People like what they like. If a woman likes both men and women then let her have at it. Same with a guy. You can find the same sex attractive to a certain point but still be within the straight range. To me, unless you really really wanna boink someone of the same sex and of the opposite sex and both light your fire equally or just about (because I've known some bi's who like both but can have a gender preference on certain levels) then you're not bi.0 -

Girls who like guys who like guys.0 -
I can appreciate the beauty in other women but have never had experiences with any. But then again...I'm from an age where it wasn't practically expected for girls to go for other girls under the explanation of 'experimentation' (like it is now) so...whatever that's worth.
At any rate, I like me some man. That is all. :drinker:0 -
There is difference between appreciating physical characteristics and actually wanting to head down south to express it sexually.
I, for instance, have a thing with butts and legs on women. I always end up really appreciating those features, and I will do so vocally, but I'm not going to go and boink an awesome pair of legs, just because I can appreciate the aesthetic beauty. I have no sexual attraction to women at all, but damn, I do enjoy looking.
That doesn't make me bi. It means I appreciate artistry, and don't feel the need to make a grab for it.
I think this makes the most sense. Women love other women but when it comes to sex, a lot of women won't go there, thus they are not bi. Correct?
That basically sums it up. There really has to be some sort of sexual attraction, not just physical or personal appreciation, because otherwise, it's just a friendship.0 -

I've never found another man to be attractive to me, but I am able to tell the difference between good looking and not so good looking men.0 -

That's basically how I feel. Not interested in actually having sexy time (or a romantic relationship) with a lady, but I can appreciate a nice *kitten* or a great set of boobs on one of my fellow females!0 -

Which is why I said "a lot" and not "all". I understand that there are some people who have NO interest, but There are far more who do or would if they allowed themselves. I am considered straight. I have only been with a few women. It may be true for some gay people too. It is a preference. It is like when you are a kid and you think you dont like corn, you just like peas, but as you get older you learn that corn isnt all that bad. Tastes change with experience and trials. No need to jump all over me. I wasn't saying that YOU need to go out and do it, just that "a lot" of women would actually find they enjoy it if they chose to try and REALLY be open. You dont seem like you would be open, so that excluded you.0 -

Totally agree with this^^^^ Not bi here!!!!0 -

"Lololol, I'm gonna post a mildly offensive sexist/homophobic question my brother put to me on the internet instead of telling him he's dumb"
If someone was posting similar stereotyping comments about, say, an ethnic minority, people wouldn't be discussing it, they'd be like...eh wtf? (Will not post example because racism isn't as socially acceptable as sexism ;])
Basically, dinny generalize a whole gender, and suggesting that the straight women who maybe kiss their friends when drunk or enjoy a bit of girl on girl porn are the same as girls that have loving relationships with members of the same sex is a bit degrading to actual bisexual women.
ETA: Also, the reason bi curious women are seen to be more common than men is because A/It's more acceptable for women to kiss each other so men can perve on them, B/Society judges women on how they look, therefore women judge how other women look (for good or bad), C/Most straight men still see being considered gay a negative thing, and therefore are less likely to say another man is attractive or kiss another guy is less acceptable.
Also I know it was they OPs brother that said this, but the OP posted it...
Also ETA: I'm mainly talking about some of the comments on the thread0 -
Sexuality lies on a continuum anyway. I don't think anyone is all the way 'right' or 'left'. See the Kinsey studies.0

I am in too.0 -
I am very, very straight - a woman's sexual anatomy does not appeal to me in any way, shape or form...
That being said, boobs are awesome. Period.
ETA - MF or MMF porn is the only way to go. I don't want to watch any two chicks - once again, girly bits are not my thing, and I'd just feel left out if it was MM only.0 -

I was talking to my brother yesterday, and he was talking about this girl in his office that was "bi" and he said "but that doesn't matter because every straight girl is "bi""
True?
False.0 -
No, not true! I can definitely appreciate a hot/fit woman and have no problem admitting it! I think men aren't as quick to admit they admire physically another man. But I definitely love the peen!0
-
Not me. I like Men!!!!!0
-
There's a clear difference between a straight girl who makes out with other women at parties, and a woman who has strong feelings towards both genders.
Not every woman is bisexual. I definitely am not. (although who doesn't appreciate a sexy woman!)0 -
Sexuality is a spectrum....some very gay, some very straight, some in the middle. I know more bisexual men than women, actually. And, no, not all women are bi or want to have a bisexual experience.0
-
Heaven knows I appreciate a rack just as much as the next guy but the idea of having to share my lipstick with another girl... oh hell no!0
