There is difference between appreciating physical characteristics and actually wanting to head down south to express it sexually.

I, for instance, have a thing with butts and legs on women. I always end up really appreciating those features, and I will do so vocally, but I'm not going to go and boink an awesome pair of legs, just because I can appreciate the aesthetic beauty. I have no sexual attraction to women at all, but damn, I do enjoy looking.

That doesn't make me bi. It means I appreciate artistry, and don't feel the need to make a grab for it.

We were talking about this in my psych class yesterday. It turns out that it is true. Girls have sexualy placsity and the brain cares more that we get off when we are horny then who gets it off. Thank our ancestors for this. Did you also know that the more older brothers a guy has increases his chances of being gay along with what hormones are present before birth.

first born certified homo right here.

I think this makes the most sense. Women love other women but when it comes to sex, a lot of women won't go there, thus they are not bi. Correct?

I was talking to my brother yesterday, and he was talking about this girl in his office that was "bi" and he said "but that doesn't matter because every straight girl is "bi""

    True?

Not true, ridiculous misconception among men :). I don't think women have the same opinion, we know better.
  • I think for the most part it's how you let your mind wonder... You've heard the old expression "the devil made me do it" so true, as for myself, when I think of same sex-sex, it makes me want to puke.

Not true! And I've made out with more girls than I have guys...and I'm 100% straight if that makes sense....

You think guys go around making out with each other? We don't.

    Great reading comprehension...

I think more women have the potential because it's easy to find women attractive - but a lot of them won't admit it because they're scared of the connotations that come along with it! ;)

I don't agree to that extent ,I think it's just that it's generally less stigmatised for women than for men .

    yep, very true.

put a camera on a bunch of drunk girls, they do things they woudlnt normally do.

dunno if its peer pressure or the excitement, but it seems as if every woman has a bisexual side to them.

    I personally am Pansexual.

Do I think all females are Bi??
NO. I have a few friends that are COMPLETELY straight and wouldnt even "experiment" with a girl if given the chance.
Girls appreciate a female body whether its thier own or somebody elses and plus females are very judgement of eachother therefore we comment or judge another female whether they actually find them physically attractive is a different story.

    Let me rephrase...

I think girls are more capable of finding each other's physical attributes attractive than men are with other men. :)

Doesn't mean every girl would actually bang another girl.

I agree with this. I find A LOT of women attractive, but I wouldn't bang them. Or maybe I would. Not sure.

Women process emotions and affections differently than men. Since a lot of bisexuals identify as loving a person and not a gender, I would see why some women would be more receptive to falling for another woman, even if they would not self-elect themselves as gay or bi. And let's face it, our society has labeled female experimentation as accepted and expected, especially for college-age girls.

Sexuality is a spectrum, as others have noted. Very few people fall squarely on either end, even if they never act (or maybe never even acknowledge) interest or attraction in their own gender. Sexuality isn't just about sex, afterall. You can fall somewhere along the spectrum without ever going all the way.

Nope, never gonna happen.....I can look at a woman and think she is pretty or has something nice about her.......but it is never gonna happen.....I love men

Girls are more likely to experiment, I think, because it isn't as taboo for straight women as it is for straight fellas. As well, women are the sexual objects in our society (sadly) and so it makes sense that women are conditioned to find other women attractive. All this culminates in a society where some straight women will make out with other straight women for attention or out of curiosity or for other not-really-sexual reasons, which may be where the rumour "ALL WOMEN ARE BI" comes from.

That being said, I have had my heart broken because of falling for straight girls so many times that I don't believe for a second that all women are bi. "If you were a guy, you'd be perfect" is not a fun phrase to hear...I think it proves that there are definitely straight women out there. (...and for the record, some of those straight girls have gone on to become my dearest platonic friends once all the sexual tension stuff was aired and got out of the way, so I'm grateful for how things worked out!!)

That's not true at all. There's lots of people who are completely straight.
  • According to a recent study, this is somewhat true:

    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2003/06/030613075252.htm

I think, though, that sexuality is a very personal thing. Regardless of what science says or whatever, if you identify as straight (or bi, or gay, or anything else), then that's what you are.

haha it's true, girls don't admit it. They "THINK" it's something else. Sometimes if you ask a girl if she's bi she'd tell you no, but then a week later she tells you she had a girlfriend.

Ask a girl this, "if you where watching an adult film, would you rather watch guy on guy action, or girl on girl action." This was done in a study. No one liked the guy on guy action, everyone liked the girl on girl action. This was tested with both sexes.

Sexuality is more on a spectrum. Guys are either very straight or very gay, not really in between. Girls fall in to the between category.

Actually I have a few BISEXUAL male friends....

I think there are a lot of women who will not allow themselves to open up and let go of their inhibitions, insecurities and fears enough to enjoy a great many things. One of which is experiencing what there is to gain from being with a woman. I think those fears hold up a LOT of pleasure (not just from being with another woman) that they wont allow themselves to have.

It's logic, what smart people have.

More guys experiment than are likely to admit it. Whereas female experimentation is much, much less stigmatized. It's a "phase in college" or whatever.
  • you can be straight with bi tendencys for instant the girl that kisses girls when drunk or what not but that does not make you bi
i am bi have been in relationships lived with women before but yes there is a difference in being bi and having bi tendencies

I wouldn't say I'm bi as I've never been in a relationship with a girl although I have been attracted to girls in the past but not beyond the point of kissing, that was good but I couldn't progress beyond that. I did think about it but I couldn't imagine myself in a relationship with a girl.

nope..maybe some are bi-curious, but that is very false what he thinks..i can see a woman and tell my husband that i think she is hot, but its usually because she has an attractive face, and a great body, but it certainly doesnt mean i want to sack her..
