Try more herbs to season with instead of salt? I just am struggling to get enough protein period. The macros thing is gonna take some trial and error but I just started watching them too so we can stumble through this together. :)

That's a good idea. I usually try to get foods that I can make several different ways. Come tax time I'm going to turn a closet into a pantry and then stock up on as much as I can.

Your right! I looked it up again and they don't have a lot of protein. I'm shocked. One website I visited had them listed as having high protein. Guess it goes to show not to trust just one website. I've only been vegetarian for 7 months so I'm still learning a lot.

Also as far as protein I have bought some protein powder. I have been told that the MFP recommended totals for protein are a bit low. Is that correct? Yea the sweet tooth gets me. I know I need to stock up on some fruits and nuts. I am always scared of nuts though because they are usually sooooo high in fat.

I was exercising doing the c25k program but I believe I got shin splints bc it hurts to walk now let alone run. Been resting it and icing it. Ill open up my food diary to get more feed back. I know I had a few cheat days but over all I really am trying to do well as far as sticking to my calories.
