Thank you, everyone! These are all good inputs! :)

Thanks for the advice! Rest sounds like a good idea.

Wow! I'm not hurting now, at least no severe pain. I thought all 4-6 knots on my stomach were my ab muscles. The particular knot I was talking about was only temporary - seems to pop back into place when I push on it or move (stretch long). It seems to only be aggravated when twisted movement. Perhaps its torn ligament?

Find out what you really enjoy doing and set a goal. :)

I am asking the same question. I been on MFP for a very long time. I recently lost motivation the last few months going through a divorce. So now I am surfing this message board looking for ideas. Previously, I been motivated to stay forever young, compare myself to movie stars that are the same age as me (JLO setting my…

I also started to work from home. I have a treadmill but I am seriously thinking about purchasing another treadmill made not for running but for working on computer. Are you able to type and use mouse? I read reviews that mouse is very tricky with treadmill and that a task ball might be more effective. Does your treadmill…

After reading these posts.........I think we need to cause an up roar with the fashion industry. Make small waist and curvy hips go back in style. I hate shopping because of lack of availability of some REAL WOMAN clothes.

I feel your pain! Trying to find jeans and pants to fit is a pain. Got to go up a size because of the hips to tight, but the waist is so big that you can store stuff in your pants. Keep up to loss! It will be slow, but you'll get better! :flowerforyou: Hips are always the last to loose fat. I now wear a size 6-8 but some…

As originally mentioned, French children have "four meals." So I think it is the types of food and quantity you eat that make a difference.

One more question...do you have inserts?

Well, its obvious you are a right heel striker. Do you notice your right heel landing on the pavement? You might want to consult a professional on running form. I think your suppose to land on your front foot softly rather than strike heel. Now if your walker, I think its okay to land on your heels. Do you need a Band-Aid…

Stay home Moms are so lucky. But what do they do for retirement in the future? To you have to have a husband that can put over 2 million dollars or more so you both have a retirement nest egg? Children's college fund? What if they divorce?

This may not work for you, but I always drink diet soft drinks, never regular. I also eat dark chocolate because it is bitter with nuts. I eat fresh fruit for a sweet tooth often. When I try a slushy - can't stand them, too sweet. I think its because I been away from sugary stuff for so long.

That puts the fun in your journey! You can do this!

This is what you do......Get off the Ambien...wean yourself off. Exercise and a healthy diet is what you need to handle stress, depression, and life. Don't hide behind excuses. Be an adult!!

I like it!

I read this article and this lady drank ONLY soda for 16 years. Most of which is cola. So duh, she would have heart irregularities from all the excess caffeine. Plus she had potassium issues. Carbonation affects the potassium levels in your body. Plus, she had family history of heart issues. Moderation is the key.…

It gets confusing and difficult when you strive for a goal to stay under. I just eat when I am hungry. Working out a lot sometimes suppresses my hunger. But I might be hungry the next day and not exercise, therefore going a little over on my calories.

Can you slip one of those brownies through the computer screen so I can sample?

I like Brown Cow Greek yogurt - taste less Greeky. I also like Greek of the Gods Plain yogurt with walnuts and dark chocolate chips. Thanks for reminding me I am out! Store run for me.

Agree!!!

Best: More time to work out and eat fresh veggies from Farmer's Market. Worst: It's over so quickly

By the way, I did 30 day shred and didn't loose weight after just 30 days. But I was totally stronger and better cardio! Maybe switch out your exercise routine and try different things too. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

Not every day will be perfect, but the more days of 1500 to 1800 calorie days, the better. You mentioned not loosing weight, but you didn't mention to us what your start and present waist, hip, leg, etc. body measurements. Sometimes it's hard to measure true weight loss if you lifting lots of weights often. Muscle weight's…

I have fresh blue berries, fresh cherries with seeds, couple oranges, an apple, baby carrots, bell peppers, hummus, keifer milk. Fresh fruit is expensive at times unless it's in season. If it's not in season, get frozen fruit and thaw out. I love sprinkling dark chocolate chips, walnuts over plain greek yogurt, for a sweet…

first paragraph refers to Cheese Cake Factory.

I once loved that place, but it just not worth it to go back after reading about their what seems to be healthy menu. Most dishes have enough calories and sodium to last me a week! Taco Bueno recently got some better choices. But all the original menu items - bad, bad, bad. Ate there today and it was good. Now I need to be…

I don't count very low calorie stuff. Unless I have a bunch of it. Example: 6 servings of 10 calorie Minute Maid Light, I don't count my joint juice, 15 calories. But I would count my fruit juices, 4oz of cherry juice = 60 calories. I don't count my chocolate calcium chews. But I do count my chocolate candy intake, ie. One…
