  • My first time through ab ripper x without taking any breaks! I've struggled with this one the most and it feels good to see the progress over the last two weeks. I also found Plyometrics was much better this week in my new pair of new balance shoes. Anyone have a recommendation of the best shoes to use to keep the impact…

  • Lost three days for a business trip. Ab ripper right after legs and back just seems cruel. My thighs and back kept giving out before my abs.

  • I'm getting Leviticus 19:28 put on my arm next week ;-).
  • Middle of week five and I'm loving everything but ab ripper. I especially like that my pants are starting to get a little loose. What a motivator! I know it will be different for each of depending on where we started, but I'm curious how far into this you got before you didn't have to take any breaks on ab ripper.

  • If the pain has persisted for several days see a doctor. Typically, they will give some kind of anti-inflammatory and, more importantly, help you identify the cause of the pain. As a preventative, I'm trying to take a joint supplement (Mendamine) and fish oil. I'm not confident these will help alleviate pain but from what…
  • Finished arms and shoulders. Pleased to find I still gained some strength during week four. Not the same story for ab ripper. I felt like I plateaued or even back up a little on that workout. It was kind of miserable. "Ab Ripper. I hate it but I hope some day to love it like Tony does." I don't like having to take breaks…

  • Completed week 4 and starting week 5 tonight! Danasummer, I just try not to let myself watch any TV or doing anything time-wasting activities on the computer until after I've completed my workout. Since I need to let dinner settle I will set an alarm for about 45 - 60 minutes after I'm done with dinner. When the bell rings…

  • I didn't like kempo that much the first couple of times through but I'm starting to like it now. The time seems to fly by for such a good calorie burn.

  • I have enjoyed being able to through a couple of DVD's and resistance bands in my suitcase to get some sessions done when I travel. The day I get back from the business trip is when I tend to miss a day.
  • Finished week three yesterday. Had lost four pounds but gained one back during a business trip (Tony would have said "onion rings - BAD") but I ate them anyway. A pound a week isn't so bad. Definitely seeing a strength increase in week three. I'm blowing away my push-up / pull-up numbers from week one and I've found I'm…
  • Completed week three of shoulders and back plus ab ripper. Seeing some good improvements on push-ups.
  • Finished week 2 yesterday - rest tonight and then on to week three. I've lost 3.5 lbs so far so that's looking pretty good. Week 2 was definitely better than week 1. How are others doing? Are you still pushing play?
  • Combo of a cold and a business trip has me restarting week two so we're pretty aligned. How are you feeling after the first few days?
  • Week 2 plyometrics today. The second week is definitely better than the first. I can already see I'm hitting pause less and finishing the exercises. Not anywhere near as sore as I was last week.

  • Just started P90X this week and did my first yoga today. I loved it! I couldn't believe I was hitting 135 bpm doing yoga and I've got weeks to go before I really even get the form down. After the first try, I am hoping to get the kind of benefits you mention here.
