Counting calories has certainly worked for me!

I tried the fried Twinkie a couple years ago...it was awful. I was so disappointed ... at the time. haha

Sounds great! I think I'd lower the amount of olive oil as well.

With truvia and fat-free half n half.

Seems like y'all are taking in a TON of protein...250g a day? MFP has my goal set at 59g per day...I usually go over that, but still...

A 100-calorie pack of Emerald cinnamon roast almonds. I like the cocoa ones too.

I add Truvia sweetener, cinnamon, 1/8c golden raisins, 1/8c blueberries and 1/8c walnuts to about a cup of cooked oatmeal. It's 320 calories.

This. hehe I love my wine and if it fits within my calorie numbers and I want a glass, it's on! =)

39 lbs since February 7, 2012...not too shabby. I have 2 lbs to go to reach my (first) goal weight.

MFP absolutely has worked for me. It's helped me lose 39 pounds since February 2012. You have to be ready to commit to changing your life though. i.e. Changing your eating behaviors, etc. and willing to log EVERYTHING you put in your face.

Two! 1) The moment you look in the mirror and realize...YOU HAVE RIBS!!!; and 2) The moment you look down and realize you no longer have ****ydo! (Boys will understand) It's freakin' awesome!!! P.S. Trying on a medium shirt at Dillard's and having the guy say, "Maybe a small in the custom fit would be better." I nearly…

I went through a similar experience when I started playing competitive volleyball again. I've started eating baked sweet potatoes a few nights a week (with Brummel & Brown yogurt butter and cinnamon). They are loaded with potassium and low cal and tasty! Also, cooked tomatoes are great for potassium (make your own tomato…

The under 550 calorie stuff is alright...beware the shrimp though...it has ridiculous amounts of sodium...it's crazy! I had the sirloin steak meal the last time we visited and it was decent. Most of the meals are actually in the MFP database...One of the best pieces of advice I can give you about eating out is to plan your…

2:12 pm 785 calories...have 775 to go.

Iced quad venti skinny hazelnut latte! 110 calories...per their website at least!

This. It's so much about the calories, within reason of course. 1200 calories of protein, carbs and fats per day is one thing...1200 calories of processed crap is quite another. LOL

I've found that, while initially very satisfying, oatmeal just doesn't last very long for me, either. What DOES work for me is protein as well. Some days at work, I have a one egg, two egg white omelet with chicken, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and green peppers. About 175 calories and lots of filling protein. Keeps me…

Absolutely!!! Going from an XXL or XL and now being able to wear mediums and some smalls makes shopping SOOO much more fun for me now. Just because my wallet says no, doesn't mean my ego can't try it on! haha
-
I weigh almost every morning and record Saturday's number in MFP...unless, of course, I get a fabulous number...then I count that. Cuz I'm selfish like that. =)
-
Nekkit!!
-
The only thing I do not log is water...and I should probably be logging that as well.
-
Well done! Keep up the good work.

Coconut and raspberries...

So true... Even when I think I want to splurge, I just can't do it. I still track everything and watch my calories pretty carefully. "He CAN be taught!!" =)

I think mine's public. If not, it's open to friends...feel free to add me! My boring life is an open book. LOL

Mine's public...feel free.
