Nothing wrong with walking, especially to start out. A good chunk of my exercise is walking around the park.

Does your park district have any rec leagues? Flag football or kickball or something? Great way to meet folks.

Yoga helps me a lot. Not because of the meditation or spiritual aspects (although for some people that helps) but because you are stretching out your entire body in various directions with various amounts of weight. If you WANT to do that, cool. You don't HAVE to. I eat more calories at dinner than breakfast and lunch combined almost every day. I just prefer it that way and I haven't had a problem losing. My 2 cents.

I like to have more calories available for dinner, so usually I have 200-300 breakfast, 200-400 lunch and the rest for dinner. My snacking habits vary, though. I may not have any or I may have a lot!

Shipyard. And it's delicious. I've been sampling as many pumpkin beers as I can find, and Shipyard is the standard to beat. Haven't seen any Southern Tier, though. Will keep my eyes open... :drinker:

If you like the carbonation, another option is kombucha. There are several brands that carry various flavors and they are pretty low calorie. I'm a big fan of Gt's Enlightened bilberry and lavendar flavors. 60 cals for a 16 oz bottle.

My college used to perform Handel's Messiah every year and anyone could be in the chorus. A lot of the soloists were QUITE good, definitely got moved to tears several times.
