  • I have never been a size 2. I'm 5'6" and currently weigh 163. My goal is 155. I would like to be in a size 8-10; some clothes I already am. I am just really looking to be healthy. To eat better, exercise more and just feel comfortable in my own skin.
  • On long run days (5+ miles) I will eat a banana, wait about half an hour, then go. On shorter run days I usually don't eat anything. Just some water.
  • On my run days it is anywhere from 40 minutes to over an hour depending on how far I run. On my cross train days it is usually 45 minutes on the elliptical and maybe 15 to 20 minutes circuit.
  • Hello, fellow runners! I was a runner in my 20s. Stopped when I got married and started having kids. I have now taken up running again with my daughter and have completed two half marathons and will be running my third in San Diego in June. My goal is to run in 3 hours or less. I'm cautiously optimistic that I can do it.
  • Drink more water. You are probably retaining to help cushion your sore muscles. Also, muscle does not weigh more than fat. A pound is a pound is a pound.
