I'm not a solicitor, but I wouldn't have thought so - the tenancy agreement will be between your parents and the council, and the tenancy rights therefore with them

Oh I forgot India, and Sri Lanka! How could I, both amazing. And Cuba. And Grenada. And Malta. And Madeira. And Portugal. And Greece. I must be getting senile, and should make up one of those memory books...

Let's see; France, Italy, Spain (many times to these three), New Zealand, South Africa, Namibia, Lesoto, Thailand, Morocco (many times), Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Iceland, the US (but only Seattle), Canada, Turkey (many times), Ireland, Scotland, Egypt... I can't think of any more off the top of my head. I don't see…

You can edit the settings by selecting "custom" when you are revising your goals. Work through the steps on the thread and see what that gives you...

Great NSV. And good to hear about the new trend among truckers!

If I'm buying Greek yoghurt I only ever buy full fat; can't stand the reduced fat versions! On the other hand I only like plain unsweetened, and I don't have that much of it, so I figure it balances out! Fage is good, but so are most of the own brand ones. I also like Danone pouring yoghurt which I think is 2% fat, in the…

I do one walk a day. I try to vary the time so she doesn't get set in her ways, but in practice it's usually afternoon. We always walk a minimum 20 mins (that's only in rainy or very hot weather) usually it's around an hour, depending on which route we take. I've no time for people who don't exercise their dogs adequately…

It isn't about the daily intake, it's the average over a week or month. So if you're not hungry, don't eat; if you're over, don't stress - but keep an eye on those averaged out calories.

I must have been doing this for years unintentionally! As I rarely eat much before 1pm or after 9pm (the exceptions being sleepless nights) .I should think it mainly comes down to calorie input v calorie output, then beyond thta to your lifestyle and what happens in terms of meals to keep you feeling satisfied. I don't…

It's geat to cook with and I use it quite a lot as it's made locally. The wine supply would have have really seriously run out for me to want to drink it though...

I've kind of decided that forgiveness isn't a concept I can really relate to - to me it's a bit like saying "oh that's all right then". I've cut the offending persons out of my life, because I don't want their toxicity in it. I have spent time reflecting on their actions, because I don't believe that people are evil, but…

In a frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Chop and gently fry (we're softening, not browning) 2 onions. With some garlic, if possible Turn the heat up and; Add 6 chicken breasts, cut into chunks, and stir until they are a little coloured. Pour in 3 cans of chopped tomatoes. And some concentrated chicken stock Then add…

Well I've been pretty depressed the last couple of years - I think I have a personality inclined that way, whether you think of it as inheritance or upbringing, but a whole series of very stressful events over 6 years brought me very low indeed at points. I don't think either boredom or laziness is much of a factor in my…

I have lots of lucid dreams - which is great when they're interesting, you can sort of slightly wake up, and go back into the dream, altering its course. A lot of those are far out - I'm not usually myself in these dreams, so it's a bit like reading a novel. I have a lot of recurring ones; mostly these are about feeling…

I'm thinking I might invest in some weights to use at home (using any sort of cardio machine at home wouldn't work for me, I just don't get motivated by it). There are certain radio programmes and TV programmes I routinely tune into, so I thnk if I link some weightlifting to those I'll get some extra working out

Grilled bacon, tomatoes, and mushrooms. On my menu for tomorrow. With an egg - but you could leave that out :)

Maybe don't worry about the detail too much; 99g of protein is good if you're not hungry then don't worry about reaching a calorie target, you can allow yourself a little more at the weekend.

Evening Primose Oil helps. So does the pill, or implant (you have to experiment to find the right one). I have much less trouble than I used to, but I found taking pain relief (ibuprofen) BEFORE the pain started very helpful - it's easier to prevent than to manage once it's really kicked in; and if you have bad cramping…

It makes no sense, but I've had the same thing happen. I think there's quite a lot to be said for zig zagging - in my case it's never intentional though, LOL
-
yes - I've rather been down that route. I sort of keep busy with stuff - have loads of friends, etc. All of that doesn't really help me with the dark side, much... So grateful for all the helpful ideas and thoughts though!

I don't know - where's the dividing points between sad/hopeless/despair and when does that get medicialsed?
-
MFP has been a big part of my recovery - I've been eating reasonably well for a while now, I walk every day (dog drags me, LOL), and I go for weights at the gym (only light, so far, and only a couple of times a week)

-
Haha - well I'm not very fat, really, nor smelly (unless people arre not telling me things I need to know LOL). I know there are no answers, really; people die, and you've lost them, and somehow you've just got to carry on.
-
An egg?
-
As long as it's not madly excessive then don't worry. I agree that the default settings on MFP are very low - I aim for 100g per day.

I always got the impression that my parents were deeply in love (one anothers' only sweethearts) - they've been married 64 years now. We also as children got the impression that they had a happy sex life, and quite likely swung on the chandeliers etc... but not when we were around. Nor did they tell us the detail.…

Four paws, fur, amusing, no sex, and registration at the vet. Human partner - well I've rather given up.
