  • I'm super late in the game, but I want to lose 5 pounds within the next month so thought it was worth jumping in. I'm just coming back to MFP after being off the wagon for almost 2 years and putting back on 25 of the pounds that I worked so hard to lose. SW: 174 CW: 174 GW: 169
  • My 4 kids keep me very active! Playing like a kid at the playground is tough work! Monkey bars, running, climbing, jumping, etc. We're outside every chance we get playing soccer, catch, frisbee, racing. We don't get sitters often so we make in house date nights playing X-Box 360 or Wii. Better than sitting on the couch :-)…
  • Thanks Holly. We're in Baltimore and it's actually been pretty warm for this time of year. Tyson is 10 weeks old today and is already 15 lbs. I will plan on running with him this weekend :-) I did my first 2 mile run over the weekend. I've never been much of a runner, but I'd like to be. It does feel great afterwards!…
  • Heather I've been doing the same as some of the other ladies and wearing 2 bras (sometimes it's a regular underwire bra under a sports bra). Jumping is definitely uncomfortable. At least I don't pee myself anymore  Holly this may sound like a silly question, but do you plan to run with the baby even when…
  • Happy Monday! I am so glad the next few weeks are short weeks, I really rather be home with my kids! It's definitely a nice thing to love the people you work with though. Heather - Sounds like you had a great birthday and glad Charlee have you a peaceful night  I have found that it's easier to follow Tyson's schedule…
  • Happy Birthday Heather!!! You have a lot to celebrate!
  • Thanks for the advice on the calories while breastfeeding. I think eating less was just hurting my milk supply and not really helping me out on losing any weight. I think my biggest focus should maybe be on getting back on track with workouts and not so much the calories. I took a cycling class at my boxing gym last week,…
  • Hi Ladies! Congrats on all the beautiful babies! It's my first day back to work and I'm really missing my little man!!! Thankful to have great co-workers though! Name: Danielle Age: 29 Partner: Husband Jerry Career: State Housing Department: Energy Improvement Loans Where you are from: Maryland All about baby: Tyson…
  • Kristy - yes, I had a LEEP in December 2009. He said they may be able to manually break it up (ouch), but if not I may have to have another cecerean. He told me to keep in mind if I go to the hospital in labor and he's not there to be sure to let the on-call doc know because they could send me home if they think I'm not…
  • Rosanna - I made a lot of baby food with my boys. I just used the magic bullet, super easy. As for water, I drink tons because I constantly feel thirsty. I've also always carried a large water bottle with me everywhere I go and keep it filled. I don't normally drink anything other than water and hot tea. Although lately…
  • Good morning ladies. It's so exciting to read about all the new beautiful babies. Congrats to all! My task this week is to get back to healthier eating. I've really allowed myself to slip the past couple weeks and I can definitely feel it affecting my mood and my energy and the lovely indegestion that comes along with it.…
  • Just got back from the beach yesterday. beautiful, much needed trip. I haven't had time to read up on everyone yet but just wanted to say to Holly...Is your new pic a post baby pic? You look amazing!!!!!!!!!
  • Congrats Holly!!!! Those were the exact measurements of my daughter. I agree with Heather, I hope you stick around. Mostly for my own selfish reasons though...I plan you you being one of my biggest motivators after I have my baby! You had mentioned your fear of not knowing when you're in labor...My husband and I have the…
  • I definitely plan to breastfeed. I hope to do so for at the least the first 6 months. I breastfed my oldest for 6 months but could only do about 6 weeks with my twins. They were in the NICU for 8 weeks and I stopped producing. Babeed....you are not an awful mom, but I totally understand how you feel. My husband and I…
  • I could definitely use a pamper day like that! Good for you! I do feel like a beached whale, maybe a pamper day would help!
  • Oh, I definitely miss intense workouts and sleeping on my stomach! Not too much longer! As for alcohol while pregnant....I have had a wine spritzer here and there, just a spash of wine. I'm too chicken to try a straight glass of wine. I think after not drinking for so long that it would give me a buzz and I think that…
  • Most definitely! Trying to roll over in bed has become such a painful chore :-( My most comfortable sleeping position is actually spooning my husband with my leg slung over top of him. However my little man kicks him like crazy so now he's keeping us both up at night. What do all of you look forward to the most after…
  • Welcome :-) As far as your workouts go, just listen to your body. My doc restricted me from pretty much all exericse due to being at risk for an incompetent cervix, but before he cut me off I was doing a lot of Jillian Michaels and boxing workouts. I was finding myself feeling a little strange (dizzy, headache) afterwards,…
  • For people who knew me I started showing very early...I guess I just looked fat to people who didn't know me. For the longest time people were telling me how small I looked...til the past few weeks...now I'm constantly being asked if I'm sure it's not twins again. How rude! Now pass me another ice cream sandwich
  • Thanks ladies for your opinions! Cutmd - I had that happen to me as well. I think no matter what we know could be normal, it still scares you when it actually happens to you. Better Balance - yay for finding out the sex soon! I wish I could have the patience to wait and be surprised, but I'm not patient at all! Enjoy your…
  • oh...just to add...I like the name because I'm a little in love with MMA and Boxing and think it's a tough name :blushing: I think my husband just became a fan because he realized Danger is Austin Powers middle name "Danger's my middle name baby". ugh
  • Hope you girls are feeling good today! I need some honest opinions on a middle name. My husband and I chose Tyson as a first name but have been having trouble agreeing on the middle name. I read a magazine article about combining mom and dad's names. We're Danielle and Gerard, which gave me Danger. I was joking at first…
  • I've been hoping someone will start a new mommy board. I'd love to hear everyone's progress post baby. I cannot wait to start working out again and would love to have all you amazing chicks for motivation! I'm up 21 pounds at 32 weeks, which I know isn't bad, but after 7 months of not working I'm definitely going to be…
  • my weight has fluctuated throughout the entire pregnancy. One day I'll wake up and be 4 lbs heavier, then a few days later I'll be back down 2 pounds. I think it's impossible to tell how much we're truly gaining so I try not to stress over the number too much.
  • I've been taking the 17P injections but can't really find a whole lot of information on side effects. I have found over the past few weeks my weight gain has really increased, and so has my swelling and varicose veins. Do you think the injections could be contributing? Of course I haven't been eating the best either…
  • Good morning ladies, I love reading you all talk about your workouts...it makes me miss my workouts so much and I'm hoping that will keep me motivated. You are all very inspiring! Since my doctor restricted me from working out during my pregnancy, I've been really scared at how hard it will be to get back into the swing of…
  • I've had a few of these dreams and in them no one seems as concerned as I am. The last time I dreamt that we were at my brother-in-laws playing poker and they wanted to finish thier game before they took me to the hospital. I also have a little problem with night terrors. I wake up thinking there are spiders and I jump out…
  • Wow, seems like so many other countries have much better materinity leave than the US. I'll only be taking 6 weeks off, but trying to work out a 4 day schedule opposed to 5 when I return. My husband will stay home with the baby this time around. Daycare is expensive! I stayed home for the first 18 months with my boys. Then…
  • Good morning. I'm so dang tired today! I could not sleep last night. This baby has some powerful kicks and he's very active at night. If I lay behind my husband he will sometimes be woken up by his kicks. I've had labor dreams recently too, I'm almost 30 weeks. However, my dreams are usually me going into preterm labor and…
  • Definitely hard to feel sexy now! A few weeks ago my mom kept the kids overnight for us to have some alone time. At bedtime I put on one of my old big girl nighties (from before I lost weight) and I tried to position myself in bed all sexy, but when my hubby walked in the room all we could do was laugh. Definitely can't…
