  • Yep, read it. I think I've read them all. The first one was "Weigh Down Workshop" which first introduced me to the possibility of a relationship with God, that He is the One who fills our needs and satisfies our cravings. I grabbed a hold of that whole-heartedly and for 6 months was faithful to my hunger & fullness cues,…
  • Thank you all for your words of encouragement! I know I am going through a trial and I want to emerge victorious this time instead of living in defeat yet again. "Greater is He who lives in me than he who lives in the world."
  • Once again, an extremely inspiring story. You will never know how much you are teaching me. Thank you for being true to yourself!
  • I can feel your joy and hear the sound of freedom...a beautiful gift! Thank you so much for sharing!
  • Great post. I discovered God was real when I was 40 years old. I had lost my mother to leukemia when I was 4 yrs old. At 40, I was praying to know what it felt like to be loved, to know the kind of love that only a mother has for her child. I asked God to be my mother and He literally poured His love into me at that very…
  • Oops...posted twice.
  • Hi, I'm Linda. I've been watching Chris Powell since the show's first season and am extremely impressed with the results that his clients have. I am at a point where I need something different and decided to look into what kind of program he used. I found Choose to Lose and have been reading through the book this week. I…
  • Amazing! Great success story!
  • Correct. I didn't have any problems with them being in my luggage.
  • Had them this morning...oh yeah! Love them. Very similar to a wafer cookie.
  • I flew to Aspen for a week and packed all my packets but had to get off program because of altitude sickness. Evidently, you are suppose to eat high carb as a prevention.
  • My clinic doesn't have it yet. But they did get the strawberry wafers for me. Can't wait to try it.
  • Welcome Canadian Panda! I just finished my 10th week and have lost 19.5 on the IP program . Got side-tracked by vacation but am going strong again. I love the program! So much energy and I feel great!
  • Crispy Cereal Pancakes 1 pkg IP Crispy Cereal, crunched up 2 egg whites or 1/4 cup liquid egg whites 1/4 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp vanilla Cinnamon & Nutmeg, to taste Mix together in small bowl the following; egg whites, 1/4 tsp vanilla Add in to cereal pkg the following; 1/4 tsp baking powder, cinnamon & nutmeg Pour dry…
  • Funny how everyone's tastes differ. I'm willing to try everything once to taste test. I do like the Tomato Basil, Chicken Noodle & Broccoli Cheese soups. I add cooked broccoli to the BC soup & love it! The rest of the soups, I will not get again. I gagged down my first Potato Purée & will never get again. Even afraid to…
  • Good question Mandypatt11. I was wondering the same thing because I tend to put a Crystal Light packet into every bottle of water. It should be a freebie because it has 0 fat, 0 carbs, 0 sugar but I do not have an official word on a limit. Probably not the best thing to overdo because of the additives, health wise.
  • Yes, I love the Peach Mango Green Tea and the Mojito!
  • Sweet!
  • I started Ideal Protein on August 8th, 2012. I lost 13 lbs in 3 weeks and then went on a week's vacation to Aspen. I took IP packets and planned to stay OP but developed altitude sickness. One of the preventions is to eat a high carb diet so I had to go off plan. I got right back on when I returned but have only lost an…
  • I think it's more about the carbonation than the sweetener in diet coke, because the carbonation adds carbon dioxide which is more acidic, causing the kidneys to work harder at balancing your body's pH. Check out the link below. http://www.livestrong.com/article/114475-carbonated-water-vs.-flat-water/
  • Thanks for the tip. I haven't tried the wafer. Now I'll have to!
  • I will split it up as well, either egg at breakfast or 4 oz at lunch & 4 oz at dinner and use my IP drink mixes for a morning snack & afternoon snack. I do much better when having something spread out throughout the day. It's difficult for me to go more than 3 hrs between meals.
