  • I'm not a breakfast person. I get up at 7am, work at 8am, and have my first bite of food around 10 or 11 depending on the day. I am starving by lunchtime on the days that I force myself to eat breakfast when I wake up. I really struggle with binging on lunch when that happens. I prefer to eat when I'm hungry and have…
  • I own this and it's fun. It really works. I had to stop because of some unrelated hip pain. I need to try it again.
  • I was 21. My parents raised me to believe that I wasn't going to kiss until my wedding day. Haha... didn't happen.
  • I almost always eat exactly what I want. I "save" for the extra calories and I don't eat as much by sharing with my husband.
  • I am lucky to live and work right near my gym. I get bored easily, so I'm always going back and forth between the gym, exercise classes, and a variety of different exercises at home. Even with all those options I still don't exercise nearly as much as I should!
  • "I don't care." "Hurry up before someone sees me or wants some for themselves."
  • I want to look good, or at least better, in pictures. My husband's ex-gf now lives in our (rather large) apartment complex. I want to be the sexy wife in case I should run into her. (That's a horrible reason, I know... but it's my human nature poking out its ugly head.) Those are my more selfish reasons.
  • I married a man with a beard! It's a gorgeous auburn color that perfectly complements his beautiful brown eyes. He takes excellent care of it. It makes him look very Viking/Scottish. :-)
  • I'd do these things for hours without realizing it was exercise. I remember begging my parents to let me go out and play. I wish I still had that attitude about physical activities! Bike Roller blades Hide-n-seek Climbing trees Stick ball Kick ball Tag
  • CSW: 157.4 LWW: 157.4 CW: 158.0 Loss of: -.6 lbs (gain) I was out of town on vacation for 4 days this week. :-( I actually DID try to make good choices where I could, so I'm happy to see that I only gained that much. I wasn't exercising at all, either. I'll let this motivate me this week.
  • 1. The HOT showers. Our water doesn't get hot where I live. 2. It's just a few minutes bike ride from where I work and live (university campus). Very convenient. 3. Cheap $20/month fee
  • PBsMommy: Did you get my private message?
  • I have always loved Jars of Clay.
  • I've gone through C25K twice now and quit after each program due to unrelated injuries. I just picked it up for the 3rd time, but I jumped to week 4 since running for 5 minutes straight wasn't too challenging. I finish week 4 on Friday.
  • My goal is to do 30DS every day and C25K three times a week. But that's not my weakness... My ultimate goal is to stay on board with my tracking and calories even if I get temporarily derailed. THAT is the hard part!
  • This is my take: Polygamy is inadmissible for me for religious reasons. I do not expect other people to adhere to the same moral standards that I do. I also don't even expect them to fully understand WHY I believe the way I do. I do hope that other people will show me the same courtesy. The way I live my life is a personal…
  • I do both. I am trying to improve my mph and I'm finding the treadmill is good for that. I go slower when I run outside, but I am far more distracted and my runs are easier for that reason.
  • I'm not getting a PhD, but I'm supporting my husband through his doctorate program. He did 4 years for his BS, 2 for his MS, and he's on his 4th year for his PhD. He got his BS and MS at one university and transferred to another for his PhD. He has at least 2 more years of research left and he JUST advanced to candidacy…

  • Do you know who Felicia Day is? She has an online book club called Vaginal Fantasy. They read paranormal/sci-fi romance novels. Here's her website: http://vaginalfantasy.com/ She also has a channel on youtube and they have hangouts once a month.
  • My husband thinks it's honorable if a man commits to and supports another wife rather than having a mistress on the side that his current wife may not approve of or even know about. My thoughts are so mixed on the matter... I'm not sure yet.
  • I hate political correctness. This reminds me of how they (usually) no longer use letter or passing/failing grades for little kids in school. Or how they always hand out a "prize" to every kid who participates, whether they won or not, just so nobody's self esteem gets damaged. LOL
  • I always tell myself this whenever my jeans get baggier. I always believe the jeans are stretching out from use and never that it's because I'm losing inches.
  • My goal is to not eat below my BMR. I'm so much happier that way. MFP tells me to eat about 1260 calories a day (this is without any exercise). That is hard. But... I am ALWAYS doing some sort of exercise every day, so that quickly ups my calories on MFP to at least 1500, which is my BMR. So I suppose my plan of action is…

  • Milk Whipped cream Hard-boiled eggs
  • vodka shots
  • L1D1 Side lunges with weights were HARD and I didn't do all of them. Pushups were hard, as usual. I took a quick rest a couple times. Everything else went ok. I made it through and felt energized afterwards.

  • Now that I think about it, I've begun to notice that I don't have chills anymore because I've been taking hot showers at the gym after my strenuous workouts. On a side note: I loooooooove those hot showers. For years now we've only had warm water in our apartment because of our tiny and ill-insulated water heater. Two…
  • 5 days a week right now. That's because exercising is part of my commute to work. I also go to the gym on top of that. I also go walking during lunchtime. I've found ways to integrate it into my workday so that my workouts aren't always after work.
