I have fasted from food for religious reasons. I went 16 days on ONLY water during one fast. On another fast I went 14 days on only water follow by 12 more days on 4-8oz of either orange or grape juice a day.

I'm at 10 weeks and maybe 1 pound gained. I was about 8 pounds overweight before getting pregnant. I've had nearly constant nausea and it's been a struggle to find things I want to eat.

Haha! No, I don't own a smart phone or anything like it -- and that's mostly my reason for asking. I really hate all the "gadgets" and don't care to have them when I'm exercising. Babymomakell: that's a good rule of thumb.

No, don't encourage lying. That's a terrible way to start employment. It was my mom who was always the one lying in my family. She would lie all the time to get what she wanted from doctors (mostly) or anyone else she needed services from. I hated it.

DH got into a bad habit of talking in baby talk whenever he was in a "cuddly" mood. :-/ I finally brought it up. Apparently his baby talk was annoying the heck out of him, too. He didn't know why he was doing it. It's stopped.

No, it wasn't a significant amount of weight at all - it was noticeable, but not dramatic. In fact, I consider her a slender person to begin with. At the time I felt comfortable commenting on her weight loss because we had talked about wanting to lose weight, our diets, and exercises in past conversations.

I hate lunges. Not only are they hard, but they're awkward and uncomfortable. I never feel like I have good balance when I'm doing them. I have a much better relationship with squats, though. I've been loving my weighted barbell squats. It's amazing how quickly it shapes me up!

I was 1200 over my goal yesterday. My really bad moment was when I binged on a (regular size) bag of chips with my husband. I was expecting my total calories to be around 5000-6000 for the day. I was pleasantly surprised when it was only 2700.

It took about 15 pounds for me. I lose weight in my hips and legs first, and those areas don't affect dress size so much. It takes a while for me to lose weight in my torso and bust.

I don't put much stock in BMI, either. Body fat percentage, hip-to-waist ratio, fitness/endurance tests, and frame size are some good tools to go by, but not necessarily to be used on their own, either.

Administrative assistant - or a glorified secretary. It's not what I grew up wanting to do, but I actually enjoy it and it's quite high paying. It's paying all the bills, putting DH through grad school, and saving for a house.

I am not a water drinker and CL was tremendous in getting me to drink more fluids. It does something funny to my teeth, though.
