  • I think what evileen99 is saying is add some protien. It burns longer. Your oatmeal will provide you with ready energy then the protien will take over and carry you to lunch or a morning snack.

  • OK, I got home I was at over 11K so I went for it and did my first 15K! Whooo hoooo! The dog's happy, she went with me on those last few thousand. She's totally sacked out now though. She'll sleep well tonight.

  • Not really a supplement but Quest bars have 20g each of protein for not too many calories. No weird sweeteners. I keep them on hand (home, car, work) for a quick alternative to worse choices when temptation rears its head.
